More than likely. He is an incredible dribbler and has bit of pace to burn. But he is very much in the Del Piero/Totti Secondary Striker mold.

In that case can you see him, Torres, Mata and Hazard in the same team? With him playing second striker role?

I guess it could work. Especially if all three change positions regularly, in a way similar to Total Football.

Why is people on the previous pages saying he is a AM?

That is like saying Rooney and Aguero are AM's, they are SS/ST just like Jovetic. He can play out wide also primarily on the left.

Jovetic is not fixated to one position, he is versatile he can play anywhere in the attacking positions.

Would be the best alternative to Hulk.

As said above, Jovetic IS very versatile.

However, he is indeed a SS like Del Piero and Totti (hence Juventus chasing him to, to replace Del Piero.)

I've watched him all season, as he almost single handedly kept Fiorentina away from relegation.

Do I think he can make it at a big club? Yes..kinda.

But I don't believe he'll ever be a star player at a big club.

He'll be on the bench most games, and then pundits will all scream - "WHY ISN'T HE STARTING!?!?", and then when he does start, they'll see why.

Horribly inconsistent.

Needs either an experienced manager (ala Ferguson) or a top Serie A boss to mould him into a diamond.

I think this could work extremely well. Alot of movement and interchanging positions is hard to defend

would love to have the jovetic in the team, great dribbler has good two feet. forgot who it was that said this but yes he saved them from relegation alone.

im mostly happy we're not goin after hulk, 38mill too much.

wayy better options and happy we're llinked with them- dzagoev, willian, jovetic. though jovetic is my fav out of all, would love him and studge in same squad, along wit mata and hazard mouthwatering........

lets hope we finish this deal, no need to get into tug of war for hulk

Jovetic is gonna be a great player in the future...but he won't solve our RW problem.

I honestly reckon Sturridge could do a pretty good job in a SS role..if we decide to use 2 strikers at the same time.

Dzagoev would be an alternative option..or at a long-shot, someone like Eljero Elia/Sessegnon would be good, value for money options for the RW role.

Elia just isn't good enough to start on a semi-regular basis. Maybe a signing for some depth, but I still don't think he's up to snuff. Sessegnon struggled mightily in a wide role. It wasn't until he was put in a central role that he truly began to shine.

Position inflexibility is a myth. Never believe someone is glued to a single position. Having those three players across the line would be amazing.

Agreed although some players have less flexibility than others (see the inability of England to get Lampard, Scholes, and Gerrard to fit for an example.) I think Jovetic would be a good fit though.

You know what, I'd be delighted with Jovetic or Hulk. Jovetic is such a good player, he doesn't really fit in as much as Hulk but Jovetic is so good that even if he played on the right side of attack he'd still be very effective. As some one suggested above, just like we Dutch play in our totaal voetbal system, the likes of Hazard Mata and Jovetic could interchange just like Sneijder Robben and Affellay do, with Ramires and Mikel as the ball winners. We wouldn't really need a midfield regulator as Jovetic, Hazard and Mata are all comfortable in possession, as is Mikel who could help in linking up play.
