Rambo 1,729
PATO IS NOT GONNA HAPPEND!! Face it guys.... THIS IS A LOOSE BATTLE... AND A LOOSE TRANSFER BATTLE Hey man are you really a Chelsea supporter? You seem really pessimistic about the club and I suggest you to stop because unless you are Abromovich or Peter Kenyon himself I don't think you would know who Chelsea will and won't be able to buy. Tomlewis7 0
If this is true...I seem to start every funking post with.."if this is true" you could qoute ALL the times ive said that in one big reply lol...But apparently the offer we made really was a "MONSTER" bid: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Daily Mirror reports that AC Milan have blocked a monster offer from a Premier League club. The club is believed to be Chelsea. The offer is regarded as "massive" and described as a monster offer. The player in question is Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato and the offer is believed to be in the region of £80 million. Pato is a player that AC Milan would like to keep, and they don't have to sell after Kaka left for Real Madrid. Newly appointed Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has not yet completed any transfers, but is closely linked with Man City forward Daniel Sturridge. The City youngster is a promising young forward, but not 100% ready to play for a team that competes for silverware in every competition. This must be regarded as a transfer for the future. Valencia forward David Villa is not out of the picture and Karim Benzema could also be a player that Chelsea will compete for. Franck Ribery rumours are also circulating over Stamford Bridge. AC Milan duo Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattusso are also mentioned in the press as possible targets for Chelsea boss Ancelotti. ---------------------------------------------------- The last bit was for Terminator X really. chelsea_4_eva 1,182
Chelsea Prepare New Onslaught For Milan's Pato - Report Despite having a monster offer previously turned down, it seems ‘The Blues’ aren’t taking no for an answer as they prepare for another assault on the young Brazilian... According to reports from the News of the World, Carlo Ancelotti has been given a massive €118m ‘welcome present’ as he looks to tweak the current Chelsea line-up to his liking. With the former Milan coach has making no secret of his desire to bring former pupil Alexandre Pato to Stamford Bridge, it now seems Chelsea are ready to transform Pato’s current unsellable status with an indecent proposal of €60m. After Milan reportedly turned down a monster offer from an unnamed English club earlier in the month, it remains to be seen how the Rossoneri will react to another assault from British shores. However, given the way the Kaka saga unfolded, a re-consideration on behalf of the Milan club cannot be ruled out, in face of such riches.
millzy_chelsea_fan 4
out of all the players Chelsea have been linked with pato is my favourite and i hope we sign him. there has been lots of things said about where he wants to go saying at first he will talk with ancelotti then saying that he will stay. however i still think that he will sign for Chelsea and when drogba and anelka retire happily it will be pato and sturridge up front. up the blues!!!! Tomlewis7 0
Everyones all =| faced at the amount of money on offer. But if we want a big player, with incredible ability, and at such a young age, i say why the funk not offer a rediculous 60 million for him. Might aswell go blow our money on an "investment" (even though lets face it he will never be sold fo this amont of money). If Roman is happy to waste the money, and we all want to have Pato in our team, lets just go for the bitch!
chelsea_4_eva 1,182
Report: Chelsea Step-Up Chase For Milan Ace Alexandre Pato A Chelsea emissary was in Milan yesterday to launch a fresh bid for the 'Duck’ Despite Milan vice president Adriano Galliani’s continued insistence that Brazilian international striker Alexandre Pato is 100 per cent untransferable, Premier League giants Chelsea are set to lodge another massive bid to lure the 19-year-old to Stamford Bridge. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Blues chief Roman Abramovich’s right-hand man, Vlado Lemic, was spotted at the Diavoli’s headquarters in Via Turati yesterday. It is suggested that his visit was not to open discussions over Italy star Andrea Pirlo, who is said to be top of new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti’s hit-list, but Lemic allegedly made it clear that the west London club are willing to up the ante and offer up to €60 million for the services of Pato. Galliani turned down a €50m bid last month and reiterated that the Rossoneri have no intention of parting with the Brazilian talent after selling compatriot Kaka to Real Madrid. Pato stated last month that he would decide his future along with Ancelotti, who was his mentor, although he eventually corrected his statements. Galliani has now promised to offer him an improved deal to keep him at the San Siro hopefully *fingers crossed*we will get him....

Let´s hope it works and Pato make the call

Chelsea boss Ancelotti still in pursuit of Milan's Pato
02.07.09 | Andrew Slevison Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is still in pursuit of AC Milan starlet Alexandre Pato. The Italian tactician has delayed his arrival at Stamford Bridge to try and negotiate a deal for the 19-year old Brazilian. The Blues have already had an offer of £31 million for Pato turned down but Ancelotti is desperate to lure his former student to England. Milan are after a fee of around £40 million but it is believed Chelsea are not prepared to part with that much money as Ancelotti continues to attempt to get his man. Fulham Broadway 17,350
Lots of reports this morning Ancelotti is in milan to bring back either Pato, Pirlo or both The Sun; CARLO ANCELOTTI has delayed his arrival at Chelsea to try to push through the signing of Brazil star Alexandre Pato. SunSport understands AC Milan expect to meet Blues officials in the next 24 hours to negotiate a deal. Ancelotti officially started his new job as Chelsea boss yesterday but is understood to be in Milan while talks with his former club are ongoing. Chelsea have already had an offer of £31million turned down for Pato, 19. Ancelotti is desperate to have the striker in place before pre-season training starts next Monday. Milan sources claim the club will sell for a figure nearer £40m - although Chelsea are unwilling to pay that much. At the same time, Ancelotti is determined to add a cutting edge to his new team's play and has specifically asked for Pato. Milan, meanwhile, are edging closer to signing Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is expected to cost around £17m.
Stamford 3
Lets just get this done. He is a very exciting young prospect. Could easily have the same effect on us as Torres did for the bin dippers. These are the youngsters I was hoping we would get in, and build for the future.

chrismada9 1,948
If I believe anything from the papers or anything I read on the internet, I would be the first to admit that we probably won't sign anyone world class this summer. But if Carlo is really that bothered about signing one player that stands out, I think Pato is probably the closest we're going to get to success since Real Madrid are "hooving up" all the big stars, and Man United are trying to sign my favourite player Sergio Aguero which pisses me off. Oh, and I 100% believe that Tevez is going to Manchester City.
