Watching the Sky debriefing Carragher trying to sound intelligent...but I do like Merson -honest and insightful -(his autobiography is warts and all cocaine, alcoholism, and professional players have this supposedly untouchable lucrative pension scheme that they cant access - because they are young and stupid. I still think Arsenal will challenge. FWIW Rice was their best player today by far. Made best chance of the game and I don't mean a set piece lol.

I still feel Arsenal have the best fixtures as in that they have already got away trips such as City, Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs out the way. They have to go to Anfield but many of the 'big names' they have played away from home. We have to go to City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Villa away from home still. Long way to go. It will help if the other English teams stay in Europe longer to boost our title chances.

I don't think we had better attack even in Roman era? Jackson, Nkunku, Sancho, Mudryk, Neto, Madueke, Palmer and Felix. 8 players for 4 positions. All have different characteristics and doing good. Happy with them all. We are scoring for fun. People would say Misha is the worst and even he has 3g 5a under 1000mins.

It really is mad how they don't check people like Carragher who just have the most blatant agenda, as we all would in his place, but at least give it a nudge in the ear piece to settle down.

In 2009/10 we scored 103 goals in 38 games with Drogba, Lamprd, Anelka, Malouda, Kalou all scoring a fair few, which is also a far better ratio than our current. So in terms of output that one was better

One could also argue  that Mazacar+KDB+Salah+Drogba+Remy+ Costa despite only the latter being in his prime in 2014 was even better in terms of names than the current attack. 

Still our current attack has the potential to become the best in PL history.

lol i had to go as i was actually at work (on a fucking sunday...). Very happy with the win, but this also underlines the huge problems the team still got, mostly in the back (including the keeper if Jørgensen isnt deemed good enough).

If there's fans of other clubs pretending to be fans of Chelsea in here, that's just sad. But I doubt there is many, but you never know i suppose. you could be one too. Personally I will always have my local club Copenhagen above Chelsea, but Chelsea certainly my team abroad.

In years past we would have lost and drawn two of those games and it could have been a 4-0 loss to Leicester. Teams beating the teams they should beat is quality.

Last 17 games with Anthony Taylor in charge we have just 1 loss. First round game against City which was clean because they were better. Yes I remember he fucked us multiple times from 2017 to 2021 especially in those finals against Arsenal but him being especially biased against Chelsea is kind of a myth now. Every time he is delegated to officiate Chelsea game people are like how is this possible and it will be the same next time but when games like today happen when we win even with two pens not a word on him from the fans. He don't do damage in 90% of the games so I want to congratulate him for great officiating!

normally we had problems in goodison park but we are very strong this season outside home and everton has been shit. perfect time to face them

I mean, yeah it may look like that but let's see. I have seen too many Chelsea sides lose st Goodisen and shit the bed against Bournemouth and Brentford in particular to think we are waltzing to 21 points.
