Pizy 18,918
Great second half performance after letting our levels drop for the final 20 or so minutes of the first half. Tosin + Colwill as a pairing is SO much less nervy. Gotta give credit to the only WH player who looked quality today and that’s Kudus. What a player he is. Won’t be at WH for long and will sadly Rick up at perhaps City or Liverpool I think. Vytis33

Mhsc 1,097
Enzo Maresca is just the eighth manager in Premier League history to win each of his first three away games in the competition, and he is the first to do so since Pep Guardiola in September 2016. Chelsea have won five consecutive away top-flight matches for the first time since December 2021 under Thomas Tuchel. LAM09 7,056
We hadn't kept a cleansheet in 17 away league matches prior to last week, now two in a row. Some encouraging signs all over the pitch. Vesper and Laylabelle

Amazing that every top winger/AMF who will be (or could be) available next summer (not counting Salah, who is all up in the air and who is 33yo then) is right footed and plays on the LEFT (Kudus is left footed and plays so much better on the right) Florian Wirtz Jamal Musiala Rafael Leão Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (ambipedal) Xavi Simons Nico Williams Luis Díaz Anthony Gordon Jack Grealish Eberechi Eze Bradley Barcola (doubt he will be for sale) that doesn't count Vini Jr or Rodrygo (both of whom are also right footed)

Which teams are wobbly and easy to beat. Regardless, you smash the lesser teams all the same esp when they dare to play as equals. Match was only shown on USA network which is tv only, so will catch the replay tomorrow.
Vesper 30,186
Angry West Ham star Edson Alvarez 'threatened to kill' Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez during London derby spat https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13877263/Angry-West-Ham-star-Edson-Alvarez-threatened-kill-Chelseas-Enzo-Fernandez-London-derby-spat.html West Ham United midfielder Edson Alvarez reportedly threatened to kill Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez during Saturday's London derby. Chelsea won the game 3-0 with all of the goals coming before the 48th minute. Seemingly angry with the way the game was going, Alvarez fouled Cole Palmer shortly after the Englishman had scored Chelsea's third goal. The Mexican was shown a yellow card by referee Samuel Barrott but the drama did not end there. Moments later, Alvarez was seen shouting something at Argentina international Fernandez while secretively covering his mouth. However, despite Alvarez covering his mouth, some of his words were picked up by the pitchside microphones. According to Argentine daily newspaper OLE, Alvarez told Fernandez: 'I'll wait for you... I'll kill you outside, wherever you want.' Fernandez did not appear overly worried by this alleged threat and he defiantly responded by patting Alvarez on the back and telling him: 'Go ahead'. Perhaps sensing that he was at risk of losing his cool and being shown a red card, Hammers manager Julen Lopetegui subbed Alvarez off five minutes after his booking. Fernandez stayed on the field until the 84th minute when he was replaced by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Edited September 21, 2024 by Vesper
