Enzo playing the entire game at AM has been a massive fail. Nkunku & Palmer having lesser roles as a result.

As I mentioned in a previous post, if Enzo is undroppable because of the armband, we'll have major issues creating chances.

The holes were there for us to exploit in City today if we were sharper and had an elite striker up top. We created some great opportunities and grew into the game. But silly individual errors and naïveté cost us yet again.

City were basically in first gear cruise control the whole match and were pretty lax but we couldn’t capitalize because we weren’t sharp ourselves. They looked like they were playing another preseason match where they didn’t want to over do it physically so they just stroked it around.

Should Enzo have been taken off? I prob wouldn’t have done that given the best passes esp long balls were from him.

Would have him moved deeper instead. Cole was well marked, often double marked, so could have tried moving him to AM and moved Enzo deeper.

Enzo is one of the best CMs in the word which is the reason we paid so much for him; he should be used as such.
