Imagine what happens in the summer window when we’ll presumably be competing with loads of other big PL clubs for the same players. What player worth a damn is going to be swayed speaking to Liam fucking Rosenoir? Or for a club that could sack said manager in 6 months time? Or for a club that will pay you half of what you’d get at the other big boys?

That’s the big problem. You think Cole and Caicedo are going to keep faith in this project. It’s a circus!!

You’re talking like this hasn’t been happening for 2-3 seasons now though. Unfortunately it has been. Hence the lack of real top, top players coming in the door. 

This is what many of us have been on about for a long time, players like Donnarumma & Guehi were available for transfer at good prices. We weren’t in the running for either. Probably mainly because of wages (can’t cheapskate on wages forever though) & their ages (perfect for what we needed, established players with experience at a good level).

Semenyo would walk into our team ahead of both Gittens & Garnacho, approached him before reviewing our options to decide pursuing him wasn’t on the cards (his wages & age would be an issue for the club). Pointless exercise that was done for what?

Caicedo & Estevao are the only good players we have beaten top clubs to signing. I mean who was our competition for Delap, Everton? Newcastle? Man Utd? For Joao Pedro, Newcastle again? Not that their top players but its the level of clubs we are competing with for average players.

No shock what so ever and like I have been saying it's a two fold thing, this board are a joke, but also Enzo dug his own grave

They want a yes man and Rosenior is exactly that, they do not want to spend money in January and by appointing a new manager IE Rosenior he will just come in and does as he is told which is exactly what they want. He won't ask for players and they will love that

We only sign young players anyway.without conference league Enzo held back talented young players.if Rosenior does come in and establishes  couple of them into the first team then those young players will still come.

We dont need young players! We've been 'rebuilding' for for the last few years and not got anywhere with it. We need experience

I have become really disillusioned with Maresca’s style of play. Also the lack of Estevao being started. The kid is spectacular and wants to be on the pitch. 

Please, no more tiki taka football. I watch the Wrexham extended highlights, a little because of the show and a little because of their charge up the pyramid. I do enjoy how aggressive they play.

They aren't going to be their targets though so why I responded as I did to Pizy's claim that hiring Rosenior will mean we miss out on targets.

For me I think we have enough experienced players in numbers,just not enough leaders.our average age is only 1 year and 2 days younger than Man City.but their veterans are far better and leaders. We hire people with only experience of young players,that certainly needs to change.

It actually happened with Bayern last year.. They got turned down by Glasner, Klopp, Ragnick, Xabi Alonso.. Kompany was like 5-6th name on the list, and it goes fine..

Not saying our situation is the same but trying to find the silver lining.

Tbf we'll miss out on targets because we dont have the pull we used to also. Other clubs you can tell have a plan or aiming for something. No one seems to know what our aim is.

Estevao on the flanks yes.although as a 10 he's not ready,maybe never will.

Acheampong on the other hand is more suited for central role and gets put on the flanks

Klopp and Xabi Alonso are not mid table gaffers. We are being rejected by average managers because they can see the constant interference from the board and what person in their right mind wants to work in an environment like that?

It won't be a high profile name such as Xavi, Klopp or Alosno, they want a little lap dog that nods their head

Only good thing about this is we may now see Estevao started more often than not
