For me biggest problem is apparently we want long term manager for long term project. So why we didn't give 2 or 3 seasons to Potter and Poch? Both actually showed signs of improvement before we let them go. Now Maresca says plan is top 4 next season and in 3rd season fighting for title. But we are in 3rd season now?! Why changing managers every season and back to square one? Now we may sack Enzo and next manager will need a couple of seasons 😂

If you're good you don't need 5 seasons look at Slot.

Sounds like a script prepared by the board.

Sack the manager. Say that they need more time to get into top league positions..rinse and repeat.

The fans will never notice...

Still want Maresca to work.

His overall results are as poor as Poch has ever been, but at least the attacking play is watchable.

And I don't trust this board to find anyone better. And I certainly don't want them to restart another 'project' using the new manager excuse.

However, given how the board has dealt with defensive transfer targets, I fear they're going to pull the rug out from under yet another manager.

But look at the team he took over and the players they have. That was years of building whereas this is one manager then another then another

They also finished 3rd just 9 from top..we were 6th no where near top and 5 from 4th

Wasn't a lot of work he needed to do whereas here..there's a lot. And if he is sacked whoever takes over will have a lot of work..though maybe would chose diff goalie

Results keep going this way he will get sacked. Simple as.

And throwing his weight behind Sanchez and Jackson every week will contribute to that unfortunately as they will cost us points frequently. He is the one making the team selections, it is worrying.

The club have signed so many GKs too, obviously none of them good enough for an aspiring elite club (which is where we are now really) but even the boy Jorgensen… granted he isn’t the best or the answer clearly but fucking hell surely he cannot do any worse at the moment…

Also, again something that seems to happen every game, what is Maresca saying to these players at HT? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Chelsea team come out in the second half and play so badly as frequently as this one does. It is incredible. Like how bad was that second half?

Not Maresca related but Marmoush’s age, experience and profile is exactly the sorts of player we should be targeting to add to this group. Not fucking Garnacho or Bittens or whichever child prodigy CF who was born yesterday and can kick a ball straight we will be linked with tomorrow. For the love of god.

Same. He's the same "nobody" who was hired. That he's not the final product, much like our squad, is abundantly clear, but that's what the club wanted -- as well as some here as I recall.

Fans get attached to players even when they aren't good enough.... managers, not so much.

And that's the reason why we're in a race for top 6 to 8 and our rivals are in a race for top 4 and league titles.

I don't mind the club going for a younger approach throughout the squad, the problem is, we let all of our 'veterans' leave in consecutive windows.

Enzo won’t come out and disrespect the players on live television, expecting him to do so is your own problem, Jackson this Sanchez that, really don’t know what you expect him to say, he has no one to replace Jackson, we say that last night, as soon as nkunku came on we had nothing to offer going forward, and clearly he isn’t starting Sanchez because he rates him, it’s because the other options are even worse! He says stuff to deflect pressure off his players, it’s what good managers do and you lot keep taking it as gospel truth.

The goalkeeper + defensive mistakes is undoing a lot of the good work this season

I think Maresca has been far better than Poch - It never felt like we were 1-2 steps away from a coherent team with Poch. Now, if the board is serious and signs a GK and ST, it could actually make for a good team with Maresca's coaching

Nkunku sub last night was disastrous. Jackson was the forward to keep on when City were playing the high line.

Jackson was having one of the worst games of his career
