Alee. 182
Atletico Madrid Put €60m Price Tag Round Sergio Aguero’s NeckLa Liga side promise it will take an offer in excess of £50 million for them to sell their prized asset...Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has slapped a €50 million price tag on forward Sergio Aguero in an attempt to ward off a host of suitors interested in the young Argentine. The forward has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, as boss Sir Alex Ferguson a known admirer. However, Cerezo has tried to quell such stories by demanding a high price for the 21 year-old."Perhaps even if an offer for this amount of money arrives, we would not accept the sale," Cerezo told Spanish media.Inter and Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Aguero, but both clubs will almost certainly baulk at such a figure. So we get his neck for €50 million, i wonder what his legs cost. . TylerCFC 7
So we get his neck for €50 million, i wonder what his legs cost. .I believe he has a £40 million release fee. So if Chelsea were to bid £40 million and Aguero was to decide he wanted to come to us then Atletico couldn't do anything.

Term-X 7,891
we shouldn't pay anything over 30m.and is this the right time for a new heavy weight striker anyway?lets see how sturridge does this season and how di santo performs at blackburn then sign a major striker. NoFear 23
His release clause sumwer close to the 60m mark... How about this offfer?? 35m + Deco + Pizzaro + Carvalho ??They get a creative midfielder, a striker and an awesum defender... And these are losses our squad could cope with.. Now y aint I in the Chelsea Board ?!?
NoFear 23
Also the losses of the wages of these 3 would easily compensate the extra dosh we wud hv to give to Kun !!!

NoFear 23
yea.. i know it is too much.. but then it represents good value for money u know... also a huge amount of wages can be reduced by selling all 3 of them !!

Tomlewis7 0
I think i can clear up some of the money arguments...His realease clause is 55 million EUROS. And at the start of the season Chelsea offered 45 million in just cash...In pounds i do believe....This stalled because he wanted £200,000 a week...Which is £100,000 net after tax. So obviously we were like FUNK NO....Swivvell! This time we have offered £38 million PLUS Deco....To match presumably our offer of last time..Not his release fee...So Deco is deemed to be at least worth 7 million to match our old bid. Still really hopes this happens, apparently its only getting his wages down to EVEN just join top earner (i dont know how that would upset the rest of the squad....or if perhaps they would be prepared for a kid to be joint top earner if said player is going to make them a million times better)...Which is 150k net.PLEASE COME AGUERO!!! Milan 17,963
Atletico reject Aguero talkskysports.comAtletico Madrid coach Abel Resino has dismissed reports linking Sergio Aguero with a move to Chelsea.Fresh reports have suggested Chelsea are planning a big-money move for the Argentine hit-man before the close of the transfer window.Aguero has been linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon all summer with a number of Europe's top clubs chasing the 21-year-old.However, Resino insists there have been no bids from any clubs for Aguero after watching the South American score in Saturday's pre-season friendly win at Liverpool."As far as i know we have not had any bids for Aguero," said Resino. Rubber bullets 1,183
Well I don't think we should pay £50m for him. That to me sees as a bit of ego boosting, the greatest players should be only valued at maximun of £40m and even that is excessive.

The Big Drog 1,110
The Sun ( not a great source I know ) are reporting that Chelsea look set to bid 42 million pound for Sergio " Kun " Aguero and hope to wrap up a deal before Wednesday so that Aguero wont be cup tied for the champions league if he joins Chelsea. RA seems determined to give Ancelotti a star signing and this one seems the most likely.I really hope this happens , it wont be a fantastic signing. A forward partnership between Drogba and Aguero would absolutely tear defences apart , Aguero has creativety , his link up play is superb , he is extremely fast and a lethal finisher. Aguero to Chelsea this Summer has always been the big deal Ive hoped for and I honestly think it could well happen.
