These days we was top team and even KDB and Salah  can't get into our  squad with champions mentality now we are farming club with no ambition and we will give chance to mid players .So the real question is why are people are ok with that situation we are in and the ambitions of a mid-table team even though they are spending like crazy? With Roman just top 4 was a  failed season now this will be a trophy  with Clownlake .

I think this is the case. Especially with the Disaster Bros. They're hardly going to say 'yeah, they're absolutely shit, please buy'. The exception is Sanchez imo, as they actually seem to think he is suddenly going to become world class overnight at 27+ (which he is within the next two weeks.)

Agreed. Jorgensen last 3 games faced 22 shots on target and saved 21. Nothing he could do for Southampton goal. Deserves a chance.

Holy. I'd say I'm surprised but he just does not do well under pressure, he's made some big saves in the last few weeks but also some absolute catastrophic mistakes including shots he should save, Dejan's shot yesterday should never have gone in. Let alone the passing under pressure or even NOT under pressure, lobbing it out for a throw in yesterday.

I imagine if Filip doesn't make a hash against Astana then I could see him starting the next game.

I think Filip shouldn't start against Astana. He should already be the one to take the gloves for the next PL game.

I think people are overblowing the mistakes and how close Sanchez is to being replaced. I’m not his biggest fan either but the reality is you don’t or won’t change the staple position on the field if you keep winning games. 
 

I’m definitely nervous with how long he likes to hang on to the ball, but he’s a great shot stopper and days like yesterday where some shots go in happen to the best keepers.

He is literally without hyperbole the worst goalkeeper I’ve ever seen at any level with thousands of hours watched

You don’t disrupt a winning team and any mistakes you guys seem to get on about aren’t costing points. 
 

In fact, Sanchez has probably saved us more games than the other way around but it’s quickly forgotten.

I'm actually surprised he was mentioned today against Brentford; I thought he had a strong game, and that single hand save from very close range was superb.
No, he's not my fav goalie either, but I think people's dislike of him may also be for what Maresca asks his D and goalie to do.

That's what that system requires, and so the manager uses the goalie as sweeper/passer, which can be nervy at times. Any goalie would appear just as nervy doing that especially considering it takes time to sync with the defense to make this work better.

Well as long as we got top CB then maybe we can get by with him. 

I remember Barcelona with Valdes. Hated that guy but because he had such a good team he blended good with them.

Two MOTM type performances last two games. Its always whisper quiet when he is consistent though. 

I'm not his biggest fan ever given historical mistakes, etc, but he has been trending upwards the whole season.

To continue to rely on Sanchez as first choice shows the club's status and ambitions,  Petrovic last season was better than him  and he is now a starter without problems despite the fact that he alone dropped 10 points this season.

I fully believe there is something political going on as you cannot be as bad as he is and continue to get picked

I know the people behind him waiting to play aren't much better but this guy will cost us more than he saves us.

He's the worst starting keeper I have seen at Chelsea for years and years
