I don’t know how he managed to score that header on the weekend.

I was told he has no neck muscles and can’t improve at his age.

Just like Kepa having weak wrist muscles. All these incurable perma wrecked diseases our players carry.

Carry on though. It’s easy to see who’s never played sport before lol.

Kepa doesn't have weak wrists but mechanically he has a big weakness which is his habit of swinging his hands behind his back before attempting saves - particularly those low down to a corner. That is the reason why he sometimes allows balls to go past his hand after he has got it there. There was a deep dive on this - I think in The Athletic - but it may have been somewhere else.

Either way, I also like Jackson and have supported him against his critics.

However, Kepa is a poor example to make your point with. Ramires, Drogba and Lampard would've been better examples of players who were largely written off by our fan base, only to turn them around.

you apparently

I'll gladly post my sporting credentials on here against yours.

Not only that, happy to talk around "recurring" injuries and coming back and recording significantly better sprint and vertical jump measurements.

Apparently he has suffered an ankle sprain and had to be subbed off on Indy duty. Probably nothing serious as long as he recovers fully and does not get thrown back in prematurely but highlights our lack of depth at CF.

Jackson still doesn't impress me at all: lucky on the first goal and good at putting it in, but if he repeats the same action 10 times, he would miss that assist 8 times! Today, I think it's his fault that we missed at least 3 clear goal opportunities! Simply put, he's not good enough for me—he doesn't have good control, doesn't have a good pass, lacks vision, doesn't finish well, and doesn't have a good shot. Moreover, he doesn't have a good attitude and doesn't seem very humble to me! I hope that if we don't sign VO, we'll play with a light attack where players like Felix, Palmer, or Nkunku can rotate as a striker.

When OJ killed Nicole that really soured us Americans on Athletes eh? It was so scary that one of the "Good ones" went bad we all turned into humble seeking merchants. If the player shows any attitude, any excitement, any personality, it became dangerous and scares us. Nico isnt going to kill your daughter @blues.bridge, and Nicole is already dead.

I don't see it mentioned in other thread, he signed new contract until 2033.

Well done and well deserved. I am happy with how he has been doing and improving. He is 23, his qualities are good, if he can be more prolific he can be a great striker.

Nico now has more EPL goals than Giroud did his whole time here, and has done it in 35 fewer games

He has 18 in 40 EPL games

Olivier had 17 in 75 EPL games

I don't get people who don't rate Nico. 40 games in and he is close to the magical 1 goal per 2 games ratio and that excludes his assists. This is also coming from a bloke who joined at 22, who had little formal tactical education, and got thrown in at the deep end.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has backed Nicolas Jackson to turn into a £150 million player for Chelsea.

The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in a £32m deal from Villarreal last year and has scored 21 goals in 50 appearances since his move to England.

Jackson has made an impressive start to the new season, with four goals in five Premier League matches so far.

Hasselbaink believes Jackson can become one of the world’s best strikers at Chelsea if he gains ‘top-level experience’ by playing in the Champions League.

‘I like Nicolas Jackson a lot,’ Hasselbaink told Genting Casino.

‘Not just because he’s playing at Chelsea, but because he causes defenders so much trouble.

‘He scored fourteen goals in the Premier League last season. That’s not a bad return in your first season in the Premier League. A lot of the goals he scored were in 3-0, 4-0 games, sot the challenge to him is to score goals when your team really needs you – be the difference-maker – and that is what he is starting to do this season. That is when a striker really earns his money, the games where the pressure is on your shoulders to win your team the game. I want to see if he can handle that pressure every week.
