The Next Manager?

I wouldn't worry about Benitez being back next season atm, he is nothing more then an interim manager and only shot of being here longer is if he impressed enough to win the job. Lets just say having the worst start as a manager in the Roman Abramovich era is not a good start.

I know most people don't think we have a shot with Klopp, but i don't think it is unrealistic as most think. First of all he makes 2.1m euros at Dortmund, our two previous mangers: AVB was on a5€ & RDM was on a 4.8€ annual contract. The financial gain makes it interesting enough, and i am sure Klopp has enough ambition to wonder what he could do at a club with Chelsea resources.

I hope you're right, but I don't think he's the type of guy who will be won over just by the promise of riches. It's part of what I like about him.

I also worry about how much time Roman would give him if he did agree to come. I live in hope that he might come in, but I think Mourinho is probably the most realistic option and I don't see that having a happy ending. It didn't have one last time, what we've got in place isn't what he likes working under and I'm not a fan of 'going back'.

Need to start believing Sky Italia more often it seems.

Kinda disappointed he didn't choose Chelsea after all the drama surrounding his future for the past couple of years now but I can't really blame him. On to the next one, who's left? Mourinho the obvious candidate of course, but other than him I can't think of anyone but Jürgen Klopp and if he won't come, then I fear Benitez is staying. Personally I'd also be willing to take the gamble on Diego Simeone but I'm not sure if many agree with me here.

It has to be Jose or Jurgen or Joachim. Has to start with a J.

Makes sense - we've already got a Joke for a manager.

...how about we give Vialli another shot at managing us eh?

Surely Zola and Poyet are in the barrel before we have to go scraping around at the bottom.

Klopp or Jose then...

Pep just made a coward move. He chose the easiest job of the three (Bayern, Chelsea, ManCity). He will have no transfer headaches, he only needs to buy a fullback and a ST and get rid of Gomez and Pizarro. His team is ready to challenge for any trophy. He will thrive (win a couple of Bundesliga and DFB Pokal) and he will be able to brag that it wasnt only one great spell at Barcelona...

I'm actually glad, I rate Guardiola highly but I'd rather get Mourinho or stick with Benitez IF Rafa proves himself further in the second half of the season. Let's admit it, he has done great, minus the game against QPR, others have been 90% because players haven't showed up.

I'm not so annoyed, I love mourinho over pep anyday.

But we've practically bought (hazard, mata, oscar, mikel and isco coming) preparing our squad to look like (messi, iniesta, xavi, busquets and fabregas) maybe planing for pep to groom our younger players into their full potential.

So what if mourinho wants more physical players? He could bench almost all of them and buy his own type of players... I'm afraid of this...
