The Skipper 20,609
Sky Sports are chatting rubbish, they just like to exaggerate stuff. Of course the club knew about his past comments. If that was such a problem, why would they even be looking at Blanc who has said problematic stuff in the past as well? Club demand X money? Pay it. Big contrast to how we operate now. Thats not true mate. Thats not true at all. Its just weird that people are buying this silly narrative. Mourinho was fired back in 2007 for the same very reason why Conte became unhappy past season: lack of control in transfer market and he also thought the team lacked ambition in 07/08 transfer window. There is also a lot of missed targets in the past because the team was not willing to play what was asked: Neymar and Aguero to name a few. This club have operating this way since Abramovich took charge, what happenned was that for the first time a manager was willing to to trash talk the board every fucking press conference, giving the impression for some people that now the board is different, and thats just not true. Costa19 858
Italian media now reporting about us ditching Sarri aswell (because of his comments). Guess Chelsea trying to prepare us fans for the appointment of Blanc or Grant

Pizy 18,897
I actually believe Matt Law here about his previous comments not being a deal breaker. Highly doubt a few sketchy words would disqualify a top coach. Still think we'll get him. Eventually... If we have to settle for Blanc in the end as a panic appointment I will have such low expectations going into the season. Don't see how Hazard will look at an appointment like that and feel the club are going to compete for anything important.
Iggy Doonican 4,186
It doesn't matter what manager we appoint or how many players we buy there are some on here who still wouldn't be satisfied. It's turning into a forum for professional whingers and I suppose I'll get back '' yeah but I only want was best for the club'' you don't your only concerned about yourselves and the here and now. Here's a novel approach have a bit of patience see what happens and support the club. bigbluewillie, AK-3001 and Belgiannutt
It's too big 625
1 hour ago, DDA said: Dude, Poch isn't going to Madrid. Why would he leave what he has built when he has got them into the CL again and they are about to move into their new stadium which is pretty exciting as a manager. He can build a legacy there. At Madrid he will have a couple of seasons and he will get sacked. Sounds kind of familiar doesn't it. What is this nonsense about the new stadium, why are people constantly talking about the new stadium as if it will give them special powers and make them invincible. They haven't won fuck all for years. Their best chance was when they were still at WHL two/three seasons ago. What is going to change for them moving into a new stadium? If they aren't competing now, what makes anyone think they will suddenly start doing so now? Especially with Liverpool, Utd, City and maybe us getting stronger. How can he expect the fans to buy his "authentic" concerns about Sarri's politically incorrect comments, and then appoint a full-blown racist, who is already a worse coach than Sarri?
