It should be ludicrous but we have been absolutely ludicrous in the football market over the last 2/3 seasons unfortunately (Ox rejecting us an example of this embarrassment). I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if we bottled Sarri.

Ox rejected us because he didn't want to play wingback.

I think what's happening here is there has been so much speculation about when Conte will be sacked and when Sarri will be hired that people are starting to second guess the obvious because its gone on so long since its been a known fact.

That NiiNii FC guy actually said the reason we haven't paid the buy out is because Roman is on vacation and doesn't want to be bothered! hahahahaha

I have a hunch that Roman is not completely convinced for Sarri. You know Sarri doesn't have any trophies and Roman likes managers with trophies.

Na, he's always wanted to bring Guardiola to Chelsea. At this point, Sarri is the only one that can play us that way (or close to that way). I'm sure Roman is interested.

Being a fan of Guardiola's football and then hiring managers like Mourinho and Conte is contradictory. It also shows that Roman prioritizes titles over style.

Also I didnt say we are not interested, but lets say if Allegri had 8 million clause and was available Roman would have finished the business by now.

Panicking? I panic over paying my bills and what life throws at me next, not a football manager signing for my club, mate.

#lifeperspective

I find it very difficult to sometimes. When the club I have followed home and away since Gods dog was a puppy is acting like some 3rd rate north London club its very difficult to stay carefree. If  your emotions dont go on a rollercoaster ride thru the ups and downs then whats the point of supporting them? For 10 minutes or so whether its highs or lows it gets emotional. Not life changing. Chelsea is one of the things that gets me excited so of course it will make me fuckin mad at times as well.

I'm as passionate as they come, but I'm also so very grounded. Matchday is where I show my true colours whether it be in the ground or watching the TV, but transfers and managerial merry go round is something over the years I have actually just rolled with.

I know mate and each season I say fuck it I'm not even gonna look online but silly season grabs me and reels me in lol

Its just infuriating how WE mere supporters seem to see easily what our problems are yet the board and all attached to the club seem content to drag their feet.

IF they purely see the club as a business then its in their best interest to make us as successful as possible

They could just point blank refuse to enter into any negotiations with us.

For example if us and City both put bids in for Jorginho, they could decide to accept City's and reject ours.

Reportedly Everton were more open to negotiating with United for Lukaku than us after we had gone for Stones a couple of years ago and upset them. It happens and whilst we need to ensure we run the club as well as possible and are not seen as pushovers or a money pit, the balance of good relations needs to be kept too.

Yeah, I see that, and they could do that.  But, money talks.

If we had offered more than Utd for Lukaku, I'm sure he'd be with us.

It's pretty public that Roman really wanted Pep at Chelsea at any cost. Just didn't happen for us.

Mourinho was a safe choice 5 years back.

Pep has many trophies in his CV. It supports my point not against it.

Its chats like this when I remmber the one that Drogs had with Roman when he said to him its crazy all the managers we go thru. And Roman answered It Works.

But IF it was only silverware he wants then this manager just gave him 2 in 2 seasons.

I cant work Roman out at all let alone our blinkin board..

If you want to believe that what you're saying is right. Then go ahead. But it's more about the style of play and Sarri is most probably joining, so whatever point you're trying to make based off the assumption that Roman doesn't want him here, is void.

The trend does not look promising with Conte. Looking at the last 5 months it is hard to be optimistic about Conte that he will bring more silverware.

How so? We've had abysmal transfer windows since the Costa/Fabregas summer. Missing on nearly every big target, not backing whichever manager it's been with his top choices, panicking in the last hours of the window and buying dross. And now this. Taking an age to get the managerial situation settled when there's a World Cup and a significantly shortened transfer window. We're already going to find it tougher to bring in to players because we aren't in the CL. Making it even tougher on ourselves by fucking around for weeks.

We're run like a shoddy, second rate club these days. Penny pinching and looking for cheap deals rather than doing what our rivals do and just paying what is necessary.

There are a fair few aspects we should be doing better on yes, but all in all were not even close to being one of the worst run clubs in the UK, let alone Europe.

I got it.

Roman is obsessed about possession football and this is why he hired Mourinho and Conte I guess. Makes sense. lol

I never said Roman does not want Sarri here. You are talking about things that I did not write.
