Tactically he has a way of setting up which helps Bridge the gap to superior sides (as we found out to our cost many times and as recently as 11 days ago), Carlo's more relaxed approach isn't suitable when trying to fight better sides. Only in one-off matches though. We all know Benitez doesn't have the stomach to sustain a league challenge over 38 games. Pretty sure he's always finished far behind the champions since he last won the league with Valencia.

And that may work out good. But te thing is tho mate we have only just done a major shift with the Dons formation. Whenever a new manager comes in its the same thing. On one hand it keeps it fresh but then theres no continuity. The players the last manager used for his style dont suit the next managers style so we spend another shit load of money instead of just upgrading a couple of positions with class players. Its plain that a good handful of the lads just wont fit Sarris style so we go into the market spending money on those to change. (I know we would have had to anyway this season but thats down to buying wonkey donkeys in the 1st place) Fulham Broadway

No other big club (or even some smaller ones) shift their identity as much as we do. Ramires was used as a CM in Carlo's midfield diamond. Was out of place in a 4231. Sold. Then, Conte comes in and wants a midfield made up of hard workers who can play B2B. FFS. Ledg 643
So, according to Italian press, Sarri and his staff are going to be in London today, but according to the English press or Matt Law specifically, they still wait for an offer from the club. It must be great to be a journo. Fernando

Superblue 6,372
You have to believe somebody like Mertens who has flourished under Sarri would be glowing in his endorsement of him to Hazard and Courtois. Unionjack and Tomo

We have several players who simply aren't good enough technically to play amazing, quick, one touch football. Cahill, Bakayoko, Alonso. Seriously, I find the arrogance of some of the jounalists in this country more irritating, like they think they know everything about the club. They likely get fed about 10% of the inside info, if that. Unionjack
