In the same way it’s hard to understand how Mudryk has gone from an arrogantly confident, aggressive beast of a winger to a timid, Timo Werner like shadow of himself as soon as he got to Chelsea, I’m also wondering how something similar has happened with Cucu. Last season with Brighton he was awesome. He was a tenacious, aggressive, assertive fullback who would bomb up and down the flank for 90 minutes every match. Now he looks like someone from the lower leagues.

This is why we need a world class coach desperately this summer. There are mega talented players all throughout the squad that need proper coaching and mentality instilled in them.

the expected shit show but conceding another worldie 1st career goal from some random player is just our luck.

There were 2 ways this was gonna go. If we somehow score from that first attack we probably catch fire and waltz this 5-0 but once we concede that first goal it is all curtains.

Playing badly with another awful 3rd rate manager like lampard proves nothing and doesn't make potter look any better. If boehly hired someone competent we'd almost certainly improve.

Looking at our remaining fixtures….we aren’t actually 100% safe from being dragged into the danger zone. Still have United, Newcastle, City, Arse, Brighton. All will beat us playing like this.
