Not going to lie, he's been shit so far.

This is the time, we fans, can't help all that much and it's up to the well-paid professionals at the club to ASSESS talent. Is it worthwhile to invest on him? does he have the potential?

If we are indeed a club in disarray, then the guys who scouted him have no connection with the guys doing ☝️ which would be a very big fucking problem.

Let's see what happens here.

Yeah, just like Havertz and Werner were supposed to be ballin under Tuchel. 

It's too early to judge, but with some players you just feel that they don't have what it takes to become elite.

I know that people like to talk about Mudryk's work ethic, but I just cannot see it in him.

He seems way too shy to succeed. It's gonna be impossible for him to build up confidence, with the attitude that he has on the pitch.

My prediction is that he will flop. Just like with Potter, the board made a horrible mistake by signing him.

^They did reasonably, but compared to the initial expectations, they both failed at Chelsea. If Mudryk follows the same trajectory, he cannot be considered anything but a flop, imo.

Mudryk is a super talent who needs a manager to get him in line. He is lacking discipline and sulking a bit - but I think it is because he is young and impressionable based on some of the personalities already causing drama in the locker room. 

He was coming into the team from off season as well. 

He has all the talent in the world. He will eventually get it. About as sure fire a star as there is.

What an awful signing. Complete waste of £90m for someone who isn’t going to start anytime soon. Arsenal & Shakhtar played an absolute blinder on us here.

It may be early still but he has done NOTHING since Liverpool. Yet people were clamouring for him to start/get more minutes. Could of saved ourselves nearly £90m and used CHO, who would probably do more. 

Fitting he chose the number 15, because he is about as effective as Malouda was at the end. Not very.

Yeah, he is clearly struggling in a room full of stars that are just playing phenomenal. How he is not shining bright like the rest of our squad is astounding. 

 

Like DDA said above, he'll probably end up being our best player down the line and make all of you look well stupid. 

Sitting here and trying to assess players at this point is downright pointless. This team, for as much as people want to belt on about, isn't too far removed in time or personnel from the one that won us the CL final. Clearly it isn't just a player problem, but a mentality, motivation and all round club culture problem at the moment. 

These players aren't dogshit, nor is Mudryk. It is blatantly obvious from his previous performances pre Cheslea, and even his snippets of brilliance that he is a very, very good player. 

The club needs to remove the poison. Whatever that may be. A few bad eggs, a lacklustre leader, etc, and things will probably fix themselves a lot quicker than we think.

As someone who has been warning folks not to pass judgment in a moment like this, I think it's safe to say Mudryk does not look like a world beater. Mudryk and Enzo are both 22yo -- no longer youngsters -- and the difference in skill is abundantly clear between the two. Yes, Enzo has far more experience, esp international, but again, I'm just thinking about ceiling here.

Safe to say none of the new signings look like top tier players. I don't even see enough in Mudryk so far to think he will become a starter anytime soon, or ever. Does he look alive and can he pick a pass at times? sure, but we need a bit more than that at this level. For this reason, I think the criticism about the price tag is valid to some degree.

Same for Madueke. They can certainly improve and become good PL players, but that again isn't what I'm talking about. Badiashile is the one who looks most promising, but still has ways to go.

Exactly. We should not judge players quality based on this season. Clearly everyone is under performing. Aston Villa for example with Gerrard relegation place with Emery only City picked more points. Chelsea 2 seasons ago with Lampard mid table with Tuchel only City again picked more points and we won CL. We just need right person for manager.
