Potter has seven young English players on the pitch which bodes well and all the right buttons are being pressed. Momentum is key and there is something in the crowd right now. It's a step in the right direction. There is a connection between players and fans again.

If we do sign him...hope he puts a better shift than he did today.

Don't think he did much off the ball. But if he turns in Hazard like performances, then it shouldn't matter much I guess.

That dribble at the end of the first half where he just went through like 3-4 players and put the chance on a plate for that Milan player was like watching Hazard back in the day, lucky for us, that Milan player skied it over!

I feel like the signing of Nkunku is a higher priority than Leao for our attacking structure.  Both would be amazing but don't see that happening.

I think it was telling the time the team spent out on the pitch after the Palace game and then again last night to clap and celebrate with the fans.

You're right it had felt probably since the start of the sanctions that there was a bit of a disconnect there and that just had not improved this season with the poor start. Last night did feel like a bit of a turning point in the club as a whole, fans included, facing and moving in the same and right direction.

2 wins in the space of 5 days hopefully starts building that momentum for a good run now up to the World Cup break. If we can get through this group and we're comfortably in and around the top 4 race going into that break, then I think that's a huge positive to come back to after the World Cup.

Four weeks is about the best that could be hoped for.

According to L'Equipe, Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana suffered a sprained knee injury during the 3-0 win vs AC Milan on Wednesday and is expected to miss up to four weeks.

What a relief. I think he will profit greatly if he isn’t called up for the wc. Fit and rested working with gp  December should help him massively

Tottenham plays Brighton this weekend. If we can take care of business against a Wolves team that is without direction, we will be helped either way that match goes with top 4 positioning.

Liverpool play Arsenal too. It could potentially be another good weekend if we get the job done.
