U say our today's squad is worse than Fulham? And Forest? I wouldn't.

I had enough of "rebuilding" "changing direction" (towards the wrong end of the table I guess) and injuries excuses. At the moment, I'd not complain about Poch. I wouldn't even complain about our U21 staff or like whoever who had actually proven his ability to manage TOP team.

Poch failed to win the league with psg enough said

A lot of excuse’s there mate. Lets be frank.

If you insist on a lot of that then heres another way to look at it.

Tell me one player who has improved considerably under Potter? His reputation is specifically meant to be built around developing players and coaching teams. Who has come on and is playing good consistently he’s came in? Or is it not his fault and all 25 of our squad are inconsistent?

A big bulk of this squad won the CL, CWC & Super Cup in the last 2 years so cut the shit squad nonsense. Lacking in areas, yes, but hardly shit. Not as good as City & Liverpool maybe but definitely as good as United, Spurs, Arsenals squad.

And then, barring the AC Milan games, who were the last half decent team we dispatched comfortably? You’ll be scratching your head for a while tryna answer those mate because I think we’ve lost or drawn to most top teams we’ve played under him so far.

If you think this squad is decent then your deluded our best player is 38 Years old,our midfield is a joke our defence ATM is mdd table at best, Kai has been shit regardless of the manager ziyech, pulisic just awful under TT, did you see kepa today? Do you think he's been told to be that fucking stupid? Do you think the players are been told to not make runs not get into pockets? No creative fuck all and pretend you can't defend? Not what we saw his Brighton team do is it, let's get of this we have a CL winning squad, because the word is HAD, KK Kai ziyech cuca are awful buys, blame the manager all you want of it makes you feel better, this has been along time coming and it's finally here

Did he also pushed them to relegation zone? Surely he had a ton of injuries, bad transfers, ownership issues and Mercury retrograde on the way.

Hardly any spectacular manager is available, if any, but GP is a lost cause. Poch, who I don't fancy, not winning the league is still miles ahead in terms of quality.

And poch comes and fails because he's also trash then what? Another sacked managers transfer we have to try fit in different style of play, and the merry go round goes on and on

You never answered any of the questions though.

Good managers develop players and the team. For example, and this is just ones off top of my head recently and over past seasons: Rashford with EtH, Bernardo Silva with Pep, Son with Conte, Odegaard with Arteta…. Etc etc.

Who has GP developed or improved? A man whos renowned for developing players? Name me one from his spell here? May be short but there hasn’t been anyone who has really set the world alight or even improved considerably. The only one who I think could of actually been considered would of been Kepa. And that says it all considering the last 2 games.

And when was the last time we comfortably beat a good team under him? Probably was the AC Milan games… in October…. months ago.

Most sane people could see sacking TT at the time was huge mistake as there is no quality replacement in sight. Potter is as fit for this job as any other guy on the street, so in this case I have no problem with merry go around of managers who are at least competent and can deliver results adequate to the level of the team they are managing.

We need sporting director to build vision, philosophy and squad, not desperately holding to sub par manager for this.

And that's why your a typical throw away Chelsea fan, not even managed half a season of change, can't even bring urself to have 1 bad season for potentially the greater good, typical Roman era fan I want now now now.

Potter has to take some responsibility for failing to get a tune out of what players he has available right now, but the Champions League win was 18 months ago. What I think is more concerning is the last 9 months under Tuchel. We were top of the league in December 21, and our form in the second half of the season last year was mid table, i.e. exactly where we are now. This isn't just a poor run of form, this is a squad that is starting to now consistently show its level.

Before Potter, this season we got thumped by Leeds and lost to Southampton. Out battled, out fought and out ran on both occasions. And the same stands now.

A manager change might get a bounce for a few games or so, but it won't deal with the root cause of this issue which is a squad with a weak mentality and zero personality and responsibility.

And it would represent an absolute disaster if we're on to a third manager in 6 months. It completely mocks this idea that the new ownership want to breed stability. Potter may not be the long term manager and I don't agree with the notion of just simply giving him 2 or 3 years in the hope things will improve in time, but I think so long as we don't get dragged into a relegation battle, he should at the very least be given this season to see if it can be turned around.

The spell with Tuchel wasn’t quite as low as this for me personally because there was a lot going on ie. the circumstances in the background. In December the Lukaku interview, the Ukraine-Russia Roman-Putin stuff, the uncertainty around the club if it would be seized etc.

With Potter there is nothing obvious in the background that may affect morale, performances etc. He‘s just as much to blame as anybody else is. The squads good enough to be in the top 4/6 right now - but we aren’t. Nobody’s improving. Nobody's played consistently.

In my opinion it looks like the new owners just want to breed mediocrity at the moment if they decide to keep backing Potter and don’t make a change. They’ve already shown mediocrity also, look at their ability/lack of ability in the transfer market.

I think it's deluded to think this group of players available is top 4 material. It's certainly nowhere near good enough and shouldn't be 1 win in 9 or whatever it is, but realistically we've been half the team without Kante in it for years and just taking out a couple of key players from our squad has consistently in recent times shown a significant drop off in quality under both Tuchel and Potter.

I do think sacking Potter now is worse than backing him for the time being. It sends out the complete wrong signals to managers, players, etc both inside and outside of the club that the hire and fire policy is very much still alive here.

To be honest if it was getting to that point then I think that completely changes the complexion and it would be more than understandable the board acting.

But if we end up labouring in mid table this season, I don't see the point to make a change.

I think Palace at the weekend however will be massive. The last two games, both away, have started to show the murmurs of discontent. A win at the weekend will stabilise things a little bit, but anything less and I do think we could see the first time at home that the crowd could really turn. This will be more vocal and obvious if it were to happen, and that's when it could start to get toxic for the manager and ownership.

Facts are we need to start winning games, and that starts on Sunday.

You can put up with a bad season if you have a coach with a proven track record. We could have stuck with Frank and not won the CL as a result. Potter is a btech mug out of his depth and there is 0 reason to think he will ever win a trophy at any club , he's just got no calibre whatsoever

Thiago Silva’s wife makes crazy suggestion that just might work

https://www.Chelsea-news.co/2023/01/thiago-silvas-wife-makes-crazy-suggestion-that-just-might-work/

thiago-silva-qrefdskl-.jpg

Thiago Silva’s wife Belle is always a good follow when Chelsea are doing well – but right now she’s suffering like the rest of us.

Her husband is one of the few players on the team who can’t be held responsible for any of our issues this season, and she knows it.

Her Tweet after the Blues lost to Fulham tonight summed up her feelings on the whole team – and plenty of supporters would agree with her.

She lamented the fact that there was only one Thiago Silva – if we had one in midfield and one in attack to go with the one we have in defence, we’d be a lot better off.

It’s seems like a ridiculous suggestion – but is it really that far off? We couldn’t do much worse, that’s for sure. Our project now is to find the Thiago Silvas of the future as soon as we can.

England backing Southgate, Everton backing Lampard and we are backing Potter. It's a trend to support shit managers 😂

It's comedy gold when you think about it.

Fans on crack chasing Potter in the car to tell him he's the best manager in the world.

Felix got red card on debut and we are paying him over a million for a game.

We negotiated hard to get Auba from Barca for big money and now we want to give him back for free.

We convinced whole world we gonna get Enzo for release clause only to say nah, fuck it.

We paid over 100m for Lukaku only to sent him back on loan.

We got new celebrities doctors and half team is out injured.

We paid fortune for Cucurella only to play academy boy ahead.

It's a Chelsea thing.
