That may just be the best I’ve ever seen this particular group press as a unit. Didn’t really give any Spuds player a sniff all over the pitch. Kane was invisible, Kulu was invisible, and Son was forced to drop extremely deep to get the ball.

Only blemishes were that we are only 1 goal up which is hugely dangerous and the Reece yellow card.

We probably can’t keep up this super high energy press all 90 minutes with this heat. So we have to be extremely smart and not make silly mistakes on the counter.

I think Kai was much more assertive and aggressive today compared to last week. Also actually controlling the ball nicely.

It’s just that he’s doing it all from a wide position where he can’t actually get into position to score which is where we need him.
