NikkiCFC 8,366
Euro is coming, I mean why someone like Emerson did not push for the move to Italy? Paycheck is good and this is the only thing they care about so we should not worry about unhappy players about playing time. Maybe only Olie cause he is the real deal. Pizy 18,984
Gonna be a lot of annoyed and unhappy players now. Frank hasn't even had Alonso or Rüdiger in the 18 lately, ffs. How is there any way back for either of them now? They looked 100% certain to leave. I imagine Tomori will still get games so it's easier to see why he decided to stay. Hutcho 8,443
Could argue its not the worst thing that players wanted to stay. Not ideal but we can't have it both ways. Can't have a great window to buy and a great window to sell.I'm sure some more will go in Jan and injuries will unfortunately probably happen Muzchap

So, one can hope that they won't be **** and cause trouble behind the scenes. Strike
Vesper 30,261
West Ham loan move for Fikayo Tomori is OFF just 10 MINUTES before 11pm transfer deadline with Chelsea defender electing to stay and fight for his place at Stamford Bridge https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8807673/West-Ham-collapse-late-deadline-day-loan-Chelsea-defender-Fikayo-Tomori.html Johnnyeye and bigbluewillie
Vesper 30,261
Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger will be staying at Stamford Bridge, reports Raphael Honigstein. The Athletic has learned that the German defender had very positive talks with Jose Mourinho, and that Chelsea were in principle prepared to let him go to Tottenham on loan. While initially open to the move, it is understood that Rudiger felt wary of the potential fall out from supporters for playing for one of Chelsea’s biggest rivals. The 27-year-old decided that he would be better served attempting to fight his way back into the Chelsea starting XI via a twelve-month stint abroad instead. Approaches by AC Milan, Roma and Barcelona came to nothing due to financial constraints at all three clubs but Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel was very keen to bring in the former Stuttgart centre-back. The PSG hierarchy felt they couldn’t sanction the deal, however, having failed to recoup significant sums via player sales. Tuchel already voiced his frustration with the French champions’ relative lack of spending this window a few days ago. Missing out on Rudiger will have done nothing to improve his mood. Vesper 30,261
partial squad breakdown (I am going off T-Markt for some very iffy players who appear to still be here) GK good move for Mendy, but not happy we failed to get Kepa out on loan CB overload Antonio Rüdiger Kurt Zouma Andreas Christensen Malang Sarr (I cannot find the confirmation on his Porto loan) Fikayo Tomori Thiago Silva LB overload Ben Chilwell Emerson Marcos Alonso Abdul Rahman Baba (he appears to not have been loaned out, hopefully this is an error) Malang Sarr (can play LB) CMF no depth (unless you count Kante, and even with him, still light) Mateo Kovacic Billy Gilmour Injured still Danny Drinkwater <<<????????? Mount may be uses more here I guess no clue if we loaned Moses either

Tomori seems to have had a change of heart or he didn't want to go to West Ham so the deal collapsed. Strike

coolhead23 1,147
Overall it's has being a brilliant transfer windows specially with the kind of players we've got in. Kudos to the Board, Cech and Lampard for making things done. Obviously there has to be balance or law of averages, missing out on a DM is disappointing along with quite a few players which are still at the club. But I feel the incoming players along with the ones out on loan in PL (4 simply good) outweigh everything else. Board has backed Lampard now it is his head on the line to make things happen. He's there to be their manager and not their friend so alonso needs to get in line. Pretty sure lampard has the respect of everyone in there and its gotta help when your club captain played with and under lampard on the pitch.
