We don’t really know how Thiago Silva will be able to navigate another long season at his age and he got injured several times last season. Selling Zouma seems foolish unless another CB is brought in.

Despite his flaws, Zouma is still a useful player to have against specific teams.

Zouma out, Sule in?

I wouldn’t say no to that. Süle is extremely comfortable on the ball yet still just as physically imposing as Zouma.

I saw a tweet this morning again linking us with Jules Koundé. He’s super talented and great on the ball but is under 6’ tall.

If you count James as a RCB then Zouma going isn't really an issue, especially if he raises £30m-£35m (like he probably would do):

RCB: Dave, James

CCB: AC/Silva

LCB: Rudi + 1 of Guehi /Ampadu

Additionally, if the club go mental and pay £70m+ for Rice he can fill in there too.

Only question then would be RWB. Liva for a promotion to the first team squad? Could also see Zappa pulling a Moses 2016/17, he actually had a really strong end to last season after getting himself fit finally.

he is injury prone?

He had 1 or 2 big injuries but it doesn’t make him injury prone. Some people think one or two big injuries finishes a player though which again is a different story.

I doubt we would he signing him if he was injury prone though, I mean who was the last injury prone player we signed?

Bakayoko. Drinkwater. If Conte's last season was anything to go by Tuchel should be texting Havertz thanks for helping him win CL but he's moving him on this window.
