EXCL: Liverpool are now in direct discussions with Marc Guehi. The move is set to accelerate after Jarell Quansah officially leaves. Guehi only wants Liverpool move.

Chelsea have a 20% sell-on clause for Marc Guehi.

Use the money and get Silva.

I dislike the fact that we're seemingly putting all our eggs in the Wesley Fofana basket., for defence.

Even when he's fit and in form, there are question marks about whether he can go onto become a world-beater like Carvalho.

Then there's the bigger question mark about how his fitness will be after so many injuries. With Reece James, you know there's an intelligent, WC player in there. So whenever he comes back, you know he can deliver.

Not sure I can say the same with Fofana. And what happens if he's out again? Badiashile again? Tosin?

Fofana, Disasi, Badiashile and one of Chalobah/Tosin all should be sold without a second thought. Silva, Anselmino, Colwill, Chalobah/Tosin and Sar more than enough. Get Hato as Cucurella back up and sell Gusto.

Besiktas reach verbal agreement to sign Tammy Abraham on permanent deal from AS Roma, here we go!

Transfer fee around €20m. Abraham has accepted the destination. Time for paperwork between clubs.

(Fabrizio Romano)

NEOM SC are close to finalising a deal to sign Nice keeper Marcin Bulka.

(Ben Jacobs)

Btw if Liverpool sign guehi we should be all over konate. He would be ideal as defence leader next to Colwill. Massively experienced and still only 26.

Konate will not join us. Why would he move from Liverpool to us to be perfectly honest apart from being in London? If he does move he will go Real.

He is running down his contract at Liverpool atm so he might very well leave. Here he has the chance to be the leader of a young team at real he would be one among many. I am not saying it’s likely but we should try.

Yep, but he has the same intentions as TAA. He would anger Liverpool fans by leaving on a free in any case but to another rival, he will be hated more than TAA. Not a chance he is considering us.

Pedro should mean the end of the Jackson project. I'd say it's 50/50 if Guiu will depart on loan or stay tho.if Pedro was an out and out CF then he would be loaned out.

Having 3 confident infront of goal options is nice tho.been a while.

Pedro Rodríguez is one of the greatest wingers of the past 20 years

761 club games, 303 topflight club goals produced (192 goals + 111 assists)

plus 28 (17 +11) more produced in 65 caps for Spain

331 total goals produced in 826 topflight games for club and country

I suppose you can argue these signings make sense as Mudryk / Sancho / Felix / Nkunku replacements

I suspect things will not end well with Joao, I like him as a player but I’m not sure there is room for this type of aggressive player in VAR ball. We already struggle with NJ who is comparatively an angel.

And the Chelsea bias is real so he will never get the soft treatment he got at cute little Brighton

Santos? Fuck Maresca and the clowns at this club if he gets sold.
