Dembele... Gordon... Raphina...

These are literally all players that were linked to us that people here acted were not good enough and didn't want.

We're literally back in UCL, won a trophy, and are making continual progress with the youngest team in the league...

Delap is a fantastic value signing. Fofana would be another great signing for me.

Half the board is bonkers for Nico Williams yet Gittens is better in just about every statistical category from carries, to link up, and then goals and assists.

There’s gotta be a reason that so many of the biggest clubs like Barca, Bayern, ourselves, and Arse all really desire Nico Williams. Gittens meanwhile hasn’t really been sought after by anyone other than us. If he was the better player then all of the top clubs would be after him and especially because Dortmund WANT to sell him.

There are players that are sought after heavily that end up busting, or being bang average. It means squat at the end of the day.

Vitinha literally got binned by Wolves. Dembele I'm fairly sure joined on a free.

Cole Palmer came here for 40 mil, and most on here and in other forums said "who?".

We did that as well and could still adhere difference is we went on buying mostly pub players while they going for top players.

difference is that we had to rebuild the whole squad while they have to buy just a few players.

Mudryk

Kellyman

KDH

Disasi

Badiashile

All goalkeepers

Washington

Fofana

All these just from the top of my memory right now there are more, you have here 300m wasted on fucking shite. It's not even the problem they tried and failed its that many from this list were obvious crap and everyone knew it before they even signed.

People complaining about Gittens and Bundesliga signings, but don't want to acknowledge we won the UCL with Werner and Havertz starting, and Pulisic playing a big role.

We finished fourth in the league (thanks to Leicester choking at home) that season. 19 points off City. Where are those players now?

One is looking like a bust (for the second time), one is in the wilderness, and the latter is playing in a "retirement league", according to some.

I took him out now, I put him initially because while he is a good player, if the manager never wanted him what was the fucking point spending 50m on him if the manager didn't like him at all but gonna give them the benefit of the doubt here and say they maybe thought Maresca was gonna work something out of it.

Also I rated Fofana as well but everyone knew he is damaged good so what was the point of going for him especially at that price.

Last night's match aside, I'm really surprised there isn't more interest in Conceicao, who turns 23 in December, especially considering Juve's financial issues.

I hope to fuck we revisit that Maignan situation.

Doesn't look like it, does it? The word out of the club was this is a take it or leave it offer before the June 10 deadline. Looking forward to another year of "Sanchez FFS" posts in every Chelsea game thread

Would you think you can chase the title with Malick Fofana , Joao Pedro or Jamie Kittens ?
This squad needs 3-4 top signings who will make significant impact .

It won't get us close

Liverpool and City are spending serious money. Arsenal are getting into the market too. Anyone who thinks that the league will be at the same level as last year is not reading the room.

Seriously worried about our summer business if Delap is going to be one of the major signings.

There’s absolutely a chance that Gittens turns into a very good player. But for me it’s just such a big risk for the price and for where we are currently as a club. My biggest issue with us going for him is that we shouldn’t be taking big risks or chances right now. We’ve done that too much recently and it’s worked out poorly.

You can counter that some of the “big names” we’ve signed also haven’t worked out but I’d rather us go for more experienced, proven players. Adding more young development players to a squad full of those just feels so silly.

Pedro would be an Nkuknu replacement but it sounds like Newcastle have taken an early march on him and we are sniffing rather than talking

Nkunku didn't fit in our system. Why do we need a replacement for him?
