Eze will easily start as LW. There's literally no competition for that place which was imo Arsenal's biggest weakness. Martinelli and Trossard are jokes.

Now I don't see any weak areas in Arsenal starting 11.

Curious if Eze is as effective out of that #10 area.

Why should we care about BlueCo making money in our affiliate club?

But yes, they'll probably sell him for 30-40m in a year or two without him ever playing here.

He was the motm in Chelsea vs Ipswich 2:2 draw 4 months ago.

Also was MOTM few seasons ago when Brighton beat us 2-1 at the Bridge and he scored that rocket goal. He was brilliant that game.

Julio Enciso details :

- £12m + add ons
- Brighton have a sell on clause
- Medical in London tomorrow
- 1 year at Strasbourg
- Returns to Chelsea summer 2026
- Will be a #CFC player until 2031 + option to extend to 2032.

(@FabrizioRomano)

Looks like contract was due to finish with Brighton in June 2026.

Will be interesting to see how the loan works with Strasbourg as we've already loaned them Penders and Paez.

Pretty sure Spurs needed a #10 after their first choice went down with a bad injury just before the season started.

Arsenal have a solid squad now, no more excuses for Arteta to not win the league this season.

Fofana made a fuss about Argentina and Enzo celebration on Copa. Now didn't like what Enzo said... He is so fragile and not only in his knees...

Wish he would leave. I said it would be a disastrous buy, and it has been.

Arsenal is far much more ready to one a big trophy as epl or ucl than us

Next time you look at our jersey tell me what that thing is in the middle between our badge and the kit manufacturer. Its right in the middle.

Let me know if Arsenal has one of those.

Julio Enciso buy is a meh for me. Maybe we get lucky but I never rated him that much.

I actually really like these buys, especially through our sister club.

Low risk, huge upside.

Its especially valuable when we have everyone on here who was sure Nkunku would shine bright and be amazing. Yet here we are... That is where signings like this are great. 12 million pounds and he goes off to France to see if he can put it together - if so - replace one of the guys that maybe didn't pan out here.

It is a great long term model. We are on an upward trajectory and everyone wants the success now. We just won the club world cup... And the league is at peak competition right now. As soon as these older teams drop off, we're set to do well. I don't think Liverpool will be a powerhouse for much longer. City is in a weird spot. Arsenal has put their trust in a manager who is going to be asked some hard questions if they can't put it together now...

Laughable.

Hard to take anyone seriously who claims that. It really is.

Sorry, but I have to call it out.

I remember when we won the CL in 2021 and everyone was saying "and we're just getting started"...

Football changes quick. Salah and VVD are crucial and they aren't getting any younger. Despite how Diaz was rated, I think he added a lot to their team.

On the other end, I don't think Wirtz is the top, top, top talent everyone makes him out to be.

Eze thrives playing centrally. Something that would have been a cert at Tottenham especially with Maddison's absence.

I feel the answer will be no. He'll be far easier to read as well.

Agreed. For me it would be similar to us buying Xavi Simons and playing him on the LW. Yes, they can play out there but they’re more influential and effective centrally.

Dortmund would be a crazy good development spot for Anselmino if he actually plays. But at a club like that we risk him sitting on the bench all season not playing if he doesn’t look great straight away

As well as a development opportunity, I see loans as a test of the player. Do they have thew mentality to both step to the challenge and adapt to new club.
