Everything in the media has pointed to the higher ups being fond of Rogers. He would, in my opinion, play as a 10 instead, therefore Simons would be a no-go (seems like a cert unless someone swoops in). Just like we would, and in fact are doing, they will leverage whatever advantage they can to agree deals which are advantageous for them.
