The Premier League panic rankings –

6. Chelsea

A club that has signed 49 senior players in three years at a cost of around £1.75billion is never far from buying someone, panic or no panic. If Enzo Maresca had his way, Chelsea would be steaming into the market for a centre-back following Levi Colwill’s long-term injury, but so far the club appear to be telling him to make do with the 12 senior defenders that remain available to him (No joke. That’s the real number). However, after mustering only three shots on target against Palace on Sunday, expect them to spend £70m on a new striker who’ll get a 12-year contract then be loaned to Strasbourg in January.

we will buy garnacho and they will buy a more grow player like eze

thats why we will never challenge for the title with this board

Tbf, Arteta and Arse are in absolute “win now” mode. He needs to win the league this season or his job could be in jeopardy. Or at least it would be if he was at a ruthless club like Chelsea. When all you need is 1 or 2 final pieces to your puzzle and you’re in win now mode you’re ok spending £60m on a 27 year old.

Our board are still planning for next season and beyond and probably aren’t thinking title win this season.

they barely sold key players and add a lot of deep

Our chance its stay at least relevant target at least top4 and hope with a new board we finally challenge for the league. with this board, I truly dont believe that

Are these players not subject to the UEFA transfer rule:

Disasi, Felix, Veiga, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Madueke, Cesare Casadei, Chukwuemeka?

Were all of these players registered in the UEFA Conference League squad list in phase 1?

In phase 2, Mathis Amougou joined the squad. Casadei, Disasi, Felix, and Chukwuemeka changed clubs or were loaned out and were no longer registered in phase 2.

The UEFA squad rules are fucking absurd. We’ll have apparently made ~£250m in players sales once this Veiga deal goes through and that won’t do anything for us under these rules. What kind of bullshit is that?

We will have balanced the books better than any club in Europe and yet are in a bind and forced to sell before buying because we didn’t balance the books in one specific way that UEFA wants it done. It’s ridiculous.

It's intended to be a sanction, a punishment in other words.

Sources: Chelsea have scouted Alejandro Garnacho for 8 years

He's actually a long time target

https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/sources-Chelsea-have-scouted-alejandro

This transfer window has been a very odd one. The Alejandro Garnacho hype has been a little bit odd, and the fact he is allegedly turning down Bayern Munich and any other club and is only desperately waiting for Chelsea, is also a little odd. But anyway, this is a sourced article so I’m not getting into any of that for now.

The point is, he’s actually been a Chelsea ‘target’ for many years and the club scouts have had him on the radar since he was in the youth setup at Atletico Madrid. Chelsea scouts have been racking up the data on him ever since and had passed all his info onto the new directors when they came in.

Chelsea scouts continued to watch him. and his data is something that is admired by the sporting directors, who are all keen on signing him, not just Paul Winstanley. Although the latter has been one of those behind the latest big push to sign him.

Chelsea scouts rate the player a lot and have been watching him for nearly 8 years. You will remember an exclusive report on this site a year or so back reporting our latest interest in Garnacho when he was just coming through at Manchester United.

All the sporting directors are on board with the signing and we’ve even heard from our sources that his brother, who has been known to be a bit of a trouble maker, has moved back to Spain and does not influence Alejandro.

So that is the info we’ve had this week, not my opinion, just FYI.

Madueke's fee is taken into account, as is KDH. Unfortunately due to the sale price of KDH, it won't actually contribute towards the amount of money Chelsea need to make.

What a crock of shit.
We have literally won more trophies than them in our down period than they have in their brightest moment in 25 years.

We don’t win our first game, against a team that’s beaten Liverpool and City - and this nonsense starts coming out again.

Arsenal got battered around by Man United and got lucky to walk away with a win.
