I just find it difficult to believe they’d spend the money Napoli would ask when they’ve already got Havertz looking so comfortable in that role. Maybe I’m wrong.

Every once in a while he would burst into life and blow people away with what you can do on football pitch. I never saw Harvey as a potential Chelsea first teamer. He came on the scene just as I was scaling back the amount of development level football I was watching.  Every time I did watch him however I was surprised that this was a player spoken of as having a big future here. He’s poor yeah, but it’d make sense if the club has faith in Jackson. Calvert is excellent in the air (and nothing else), which is a big jackson weakness.

We need a first choice CF and not a Giroud-type

+ Toney over Calvert Lewin any day. Just a year older and looking like comparable price according to reports so far.

I don’t disagree… have my doubts Jackson will make it at this level.

just thinking from the clubs perspective in case they trust Jackson is indeed the answer.
