As I posted earlier today, what the club say and what the club do do not have to match, in fact, probably they shouldn't match. Why should we make ourselves look desperate? What you say may be true. But like I said, even if Broja was gone tonight I wouldn’t fancy Balogun. He’s got expensive flop written all over him.

His stats are pretty impressive, higher npxG + xAG than any Chelsea player but I can't say I know much about the lad.

Purely based on my eye test he looks like the sort of striker for an Everton/West Ham/Wolves level club. He doesn’t really jump off the screen and wow me. Just looks like a solid, midtable sort of striker.
