Forgot about that, ffs. Couldn’t make it up.

Also kind of forgot that after that whole huge saga with trying to get his big move to Juve a couple of years ago he went on to completely flop there.

The more I think about this the more I hate it. With Essugo now back we have 4 fit midfielders plus Reece and Gusto who we have used in there frequently. So what’s the point of this?

I think a midfield signing would be 100% necessary if Essugo were to go on loan like initially reported.

And if Essugo stays, I wouldn’t be against another player as well because we cannot just rely on only Caicedo, Fernandez, Santos & Essugo for various reasons. Essugo and Santos are still a bit green in terms of PL experience. Caicedo’s playing virtually every game. Fernandez’s position has changed 3 times already too so not sure where Rosenoir sees him used best.

We need to stop using James & Gusto in there though. Not viable long term.

Lavia is unreliable in terms of fitness and probably should be out the door in the summer.

Sort of statement could be put out there every day.of course clubs want him.

When Maresca was holding him back for no reason there may have been a chance.he's playing enough now and even if we overhaul the back line he has a place for regular time.

Only 1 or 2 clubs have potential to turn his head and it's not the likes of Palace or Bournemouth.

Feels a bit strange that all these journalists were briefed a while ago now that a “top” or starting level CB was now a priority in January and things have just gone totally quiet. If the club think Jacquet is too expensive then why aren’t we hearing about an alternative?

I don’t want to see Badiashile or god forbid Disasi against PL or UCL opposition, ffs.

I don't think this is the case. At his stage of the career, he will be seriously considering playing week in and week out for Palace to make a case for the national team like Guehi who left when he was 20 or 21

Guehi was rejected and sold after a successful loan.not really worth comparing..Acheampong is playing more now.

I'd prefer Neves out of the three

Ngolo Kante all day all night anytime instead of these boring tattoed bearded clowns.

I don't know how is he doing these days(on 2024 Euros he was pretty good) but I would be super happy to watch Kante even just walk around the field.
