I think a midfield signing would be 100% necessary if Essugo were to go on loan like initially reported. And if Essugo stays, I wouldn’t be against another player as well because we cannot just rely on only Caicedo, Fernandez, Santos & Essugo for various reasons. Essugo and Santos are still a bit green in terms of PL experience. Caicedo’s playing virtually every game. Fernandez’s position has changed 3 times already too so not sure where Rosenoir sees him used best. We need to stop using James & Gusto in there though. Not viable long term. If the club think Jacquet is too expensive then why aren’t we hearing about an alternative? I don’t want to see Badiashile or god forbid Disasi against PL or UCL opposition, ffs.
