Bang average. He comes here and the forum here complains how we signed a mid table striker who is on the decline at nearly 30.

All this will be preceded with talks of how we finally have a proper striker and all that good stuff.

I think for where we are and what we will be for 1,2 maybe 3 seasons he could bring something. Never going to propel a top 4 team to the next level though.

Hope we activate the £15m clause for Guirassy. Potential bargain

£15m?

Experienced ST?

Been on an upward trajectory since 2020?

Nah. Issue here is that this makes too much sense, and clearly Clearlake isn't going for that.

Connor still up for sale

Gotta make that Cobham money. Wyss seeing dollar signs. Old scavenger.

I don't care how limited Gallagher is as a player. There is such a thing as team chemistry, and taking away a player that is one of the only consistent pieces of the team in the middle of the season would only typify how moronic this new administration can be.

This is their way of retribution because Gallagher didn't sign their ridiculous long term contract.

Do we really need another stop-gap?

Muriel was almost the perfect signing for us a few windows ago to fill that void. The club thought it was smart to spend a hefty fee on Jackson, who looks like someone with potential who won't meet the grade here. We're at a point where we need top-level players to help with the inconsistency within our youthful squad.

If he continues his current form he wouldn’t be a stop gap. The best players won’t be interested in coming here anyway

highlights reel shows him over hitting passes and accidentally treading on the ball ... Boehly slapping 20m down for that

I totally forgot we have Fofana too. These signings need to stop.

Yes , him and ugochukwu who are just big talentless lumps in midfield come out to About 40-45m . That could be used on a shrewd first team signing. The chances of them suddenly being worth 60m each and making a profit is about 0

He's almost 28 and has never played European football. Form is temporary.

Osimhen would join us in a heartbeat. The issue is getting a deal done, which will probably be even harder considering his recent extension.

We are literally stockpiling talent at this point. Money going down the drain for fun.

Now now you seem to not be a believer of our brilliant and novel strategy of turning an elite club into a feeder club. 😉

Wouldn't that be wonderful?

We need an LB seriously so Colwill can go back to playing as a CB.

While I think these swaps are pretty common actually, depending on opposition and circumstances, it would be nice to get an LB assuming that Cuccu is really a bust. In theory he was supposed to be the perfect alternative for Chilwell: far more defensive and energetic, providing exactly what Colwill does in the LB position.
That's the reason I don't blame the manager: he wants a defensive (his prerogative to balance the team) LB, so who does he pick? It's really between Cuccu and Colwill atm.

Cuccu being yet another player who looked much better at a smaller club.
