Same I fear for Osimhen, Wirtz, Leão, Kvaratskhelia, Hakimi, Xavi Simons, Alphonso Davies, Kimmich, Nuno Mendes, Lautaro, Dušan Vlahović, Bremer, Barella, Diogo Costa. Oblak, Mike Maignan, António Silva, Bastoni, Giorgio Scalvini, Frimpong, Theo Hernandez, Nahuel Molina. Federico Dimarco, etc etc Boehly has destroyed us (no CL, probably for years, and if the Roman illegal money shit blows up, we may well be forcibly relegated down the road) the more I see the full picture, the more distraught I am becoming Half those players are worse than what we have here. We have some mismatched pieces trying to fit and learn how to play together. Takes time. Y'all can't even give Poch 17 games before calling it quits - and he hasn't had a full roster the entire time. milka 3,407
Pochettino obviously wants to keep Gallagher, but these wrongers want to get rid of him our best player of the season in January like Chalobah . For what to take another Brazillian .

Gallagher should not be sold unless we get an obscene amount of money like 100 million or something like that. Same, I still like poch. He is the one manager that really needs time. With Tuchel I was a fan but I always saw him as a short term manager. He was not a good manager to build a team for 5 years. Poch is and he will be adjusting and seeing who should go and who should come. We need to take a stand and back Poch. For me at least till next season, if by next season in December we are still the same then I will worried. But I expected these results from the get go, we are not stable yet, but it should grow little by little.

No, no they are not (especially as Reece and Fofana look either perma fucked (Fofana) or on the road to it (Reece) atm, and dog helps us if Nkunku goes that route as well). Those I listed are literally most of the top players on the planet (I listed players from pretty much every position) who would be remotely (some very remotely) available to us in normal Chels circumstances (no, Mbappe would very likely not come here even if we were at 2016 to 2021 levels) and are under 30yo. I also did not list youth players.

IF we could actually pull them (we very likely cannot) we would be insane to not sign Bremer or Marquinhos (even though he turns 30yo in May I wager he has 3 or 4 top years left) They are both great CBs, better than most of what we have (especially as Thiago turns 40yo in 9 months and likely is not coming back) they are also both right footed the only two decent CBs we have after Thiago leaves (Fofana is likely perma trashed) are Levi Colwill and Benoît Badiashile, who are both left-footed only other one floating about out there is Bashir Humphreys. the 20yo out on loan at Swansea, who is ALSO a lefty in terms of other right-footed CB options out there, many will likely not come (and likely neither will Bremer or Marquinhos strike throughs will likely not come bold I rate to buy red were my top 4 thsi is a pretty comprehensive list as well, many names who I would not be thrilled with Matthijs de Ligt Marquinhos (age makes this also very unlikely) António Silva Bremer Giorgio Scalvini Jean-Clair Todibo (tough pull) Mohamed Simakan (tough pull) Edmond Tapsoba Marc Guéhi Odilon Kossounou Robin Le Normand José María Giménez (too many injuries) Malick Thiaw Ousmane Diomande Leny Yoro (just turned 18) best teen CB (either foot) out there IMHO Taylor Harwood-Bellis Perr Schuurs Nicolò Casale Kevin Danso Maxence Lacroix Wilfried Singo Oumar Solet Danilho Doekhi Josip Sutalo Zeno Debast

Vesper 31,045
Chelsea nearing agreement to sign Pape Daouda Diong https://theathletic.com/5151650/2023/12/20/Chelsea-transfer-news-pape-daouda-diong/ Chelsea are close to a deal for Senegalese midfielder Pape Daouda Diong. Diong, 17, was present at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening as Chelsea defeated Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. Any move would see the midfielder join the Premier League club in June 2024, once he turns 18. An international at representative level for his national team, he was a key part of the Senegal squad at the recent Under-17 World Cup in Indonesia. Diong played all four of his country’s matches — starting twice — as Senegal were eliminated by eventual finalists France in the round of 16. Diong watched as Mykhailo Mudryk’s late equaliser forced a penalty shootout before Djordje Petrovic saved the crucial spot-kick to send Chelsea to the last four. Chelsea’s new ownership have prioritised securing future deals for promising younger players with Kendry Paez, a 16-year-old Ecuadorian who was also in attendance at Stamford Bridge, not set to officially sign with the club until May 2025.
