I mean he has been acquitted by looks of it I think but doesn’t mean he’s innocent. Voice clips were pretty damning. Boehly made some stupid decisions but this would be one of the daftest things to do if he ok’d such a move. Keep buying players who fit the system, who run and press well, and the goals will eventually come. Especially against West Ham who are very hard to play since they just hoof the ball and score a lot of set pieces. If a system has no place for a natural goalscorer it is not a winning system. Haaland does little except score goals vs relegation fodder/mid table sides. Yet he plays for the best team in the world. We saw not only va westham but for the better part of the last few years what it means not to have a goalscorer. But I agree that we should not spend on someone with an ok goalscoring record just for the sake of it.
