They’re actually very similar players. Even if Broja wasn’t here I wouldn’t fancy Balogun. A player who had 1 explosive, breakout season at a small club after looking bang average up until that point is a red flag when it comes to transferring to a massive club. As I posted earlier today, what the club say and what the club do do not have to match, in fact, probably they shouldn't match. Why should we make ourselves look desperate? Why should we not raise Broja's confidence & value by backing him so publicly? It is the same shit we did with Kepa. Doesn't mean we wont see that Broja has been loaned with obligation to buy for £15m randomly before the window closes and some random senior player bought in. Purely based on my eye test he looks like the sort of striker for an Everton/West Ham/Wolves level club. He doesn’t really jump off the screen and wow me.
