Pizy 18,897
Tyler Adams doesn’t even look like a DM to my eye, btw. He looks more like a Kova type midfielder aka a #8. Playing him beside Enzo in a 2 would be terrible. Vesper

Gundalf 805
Fofana and Gvardiol are not connected. We bought Badiashile instead of him.
Pizy 18,897
You guys really need to get over Gvardiol AND Fofana. We’re just about to replace him in the long term with Disasi. Fofana has nothing to do with Gvardiol anyways because they play on opposite sides. Yes, the massive transfer fee will hurt us but it’s not like that signing has prevented us from signing someone else. We now have Colwill on our books for £0 and Badiashile for £32m. Those are who you should compare to Gvardiol. Is he worth more than double what Colwill and Badiashile are combined? No, and I love Gvardiol. Avoid. Pretty sure he just ran about for 90 minutes kicking people under Jesse Marsch at both clubs. People complaining about not signing Gvardiol because of Fofana really are clueless too. Like properly. Fofana played RCB in a 3 under Tuchel, Koulibaly played LCB in our 3 under Tuchel 🤷♂️ And even then, going for him this summer would only of made sense if we were not keeping Levi as we already signed Badiashile. Some of you need to open your eyes a bit and watch football to see what their strongest foot is, be mindnumbingly retarded and pointless having Badiashile, Colwill and Gvardiol here at once who are all young, left footed centre backs, who prefer playing on that left hand side when we play a back 4 with Poch, no? Be like having 8 left wingers but no right wingers. Or 6 GKs. Just daft as fuck. Edited August 2, 2023 by OneMoSalah YorkshireBlue

They play on different sides of the CB, Fofana and Gvardiol impact each other as about as much as Bettinelli and Nkunku do. Now let's assume he was up for joining us over City (highly unlikely) if we decided against it it would have been because of Colwill and/or Badiashille, not Fofana. But that doesn't get your much needed sensational headline, does it? YorkshireBlue and OneMoSalah 1

HELL no! From what I'm reading that's exactly what he'd do from a defensive standpoint. It's on the ball where he's weak to non existent. Also pointless discussion because my point was we should've got him last year instead of Fofana not this year.
