No I am not worried about our Def either.  Would trust any of our present cb options and even rate Colwill over Gvardiol. Can see Disasi being a shrewd buy as well. Have been a fan of Badiashile from day 1. just a shame that the money spent on Fofana could have been used elsewhere way better without us being a yota worse off.

Last summer must've been the worst way to spend 300m in football history, it was that bad. Even if we seem to have got back on track that summer will continue to haunt us for a long while now.

we buy this fella from Rennes so we are overvalue our midfielder

its too many players

we need to sell gallagher and loan chuko and casadei at least

I wouldn't loan Chukwuemeka.. he's a good player who we need to start using more.

Liverpool have been haggling and struggling to afford Lavia at £50m. The idea that they could then move to Caicedo and spend £85m-100m seems super sketchy.

But if they do somehow match our bid and goes there we BETTER get Lavia. He’d be the only acceptable, face saving move. Tyler Adams and Edson Alvarez would be a disgrace.

I'd rather play Gallagher every single match of the season than get Alvarez or Adams.

Rather, you live in some illusory world, in which the club works at the top level by taking only young players around the world  with potential and it is almost expected from Pochettino to rank them in the top 4 with zero experience in the team , but in fact the level is much lower than what it was with Abramovich.

The very fact that Brighton has been playing with  us all summer clearly shows how well the club is doing. Cheers .

It's one thing criticising the club in some aspects but pretending all our rivals are doing amazing alongside that just reeks of an agenda.

Does Brighton really think anyone is going to believe that bullshit LOL

"Hey Moises, someone bid more than Chelsea, but unfortunately we cant tell u who, but its NOT Liverpool. Byeee"

Maybe it's City and don't wanna reveal so it doesn't happen like with Rice.

If it’s United or Liverpool I think we’d have a chance at convincing him to choose us. We’ve been after him hard and have shown our determination to get him by bidding again and again. That has to mean something to the player.

But if it’s City I don’t think we have a chance. you don’t say no to Pep and City are as close to a trophy guaranteed as you can get these days.

Brighton claim offer rejected for Caicedo

Chelsea could face competition in their pursuit of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Brighton claim they have received a bid, from an as yet unidentified club, that surpasses Chelsea's most recent offer for the 21-year-old Ecuador international worth a total of £80million.

They are intent on holding out for their asking price and won't budge on comparing Caicedo's value to that of England midfielder Declan Rice, who moved to Arsenal from West Ham in a £105m deal.

Brighton previously rebuffed approaches from Chelsea and Arsenal in January.

Chelsea are considering alternative options should a move for Caicedo not materialise, including Liverpool target Romeo Lavia of Southampton.

The bid doesn't seem real.
