Probably a backup LWB too, so we don't have to endure Cucurella there when Chilwell inevitably gets injured

We have Chilwell, Cucurella, Hall and Maatsen and u still want new LB.

yes, unless we are going to sell Chilwell we do not need to buy another LB at all

there are only 3 fullbacks on the planet who atm truly interest me (as Saka and Kimmich will never play fullback again likely, and Theo has fallen off badly defensively, although not as badly as TAA has)

2 LBs and one RB

LB Nuno Mendes

LB Alphonso Davies

RB Achraf Hakimi  (the only acceptable Reece replacement atm if Real somehow poached (dog forbid) him, unless Malo Gusto blows up, which he does have perhaps the potential to do so)

I won't even have to mention Kimmich at anymore soon, as he turns 30yo midway through the season after this one

to show you how weak RB is globally, IF TAA is converted to MF, then after Reece and Hakimi, the 3rd highest RB valuation wise is the Arse CB converted to RB, Ben White, lolol

Vieira did great with some young players before like Saint Maximin and Gallagher.

Yeah, I really don’t understand the big uproar about Viera getting that job. Before the wheels fell off at Palace he was being lavished with praise for the job he was doing. The players seemed to love him early on as well.

Being back in France where he is a massive legend working with lots of French players can only be a good thing.

this year we will have less games and we have two youngsters with a lot of potential, besides cucurella.

even if cucurella leaves, it doesn't make sense to spend money on a player for the bench.

there are much higher priority positions than a LWB.

Galtier: he risks three years in prison for racism, the trial on December 15th. Son released

Scum like him should be locked up and never be employed again.

It's shocking that this wasn't "found" much sooner. Also, the fact that this seemingly becomes public knowledge shortly after getting the boot is very timely.

He is one to watch as a manager too. Brilliant football brain and apparently a great motivator of fellow players (Hazard raved about him).

Anyone who scrolls back a couple of years in the correct thread will bump into a post of mine recommending Cesc as a future Chelsea manager.

Lots of outgoings at Chelsea but Levi Colwill won’t be another

It’s a crucial time for Chelsea star, Levi Colwill. The 20-year-old is currently on England duty with the U21 side but his future must be clarified soon. It’s true that Brighton and Hove Albion have always been interested in his services and Roberto De Zerbi appreciates the player.

Nothing has changed for the Seagulls and they remain interested in trying to convince the player. The problem is that Chelsea do not want to sell at any cost. Colwill is untouchable. Not for sale. This is a very clear position. Once the U21 Euros are over for England, Colwill will return to the club and speak with Mauricio Pochettino to clarify his future. It will be an important conversation because the player isn’t interested in being a backup option. He’s clear that he wants to be a starter for the team, and this will be the most crucial part of the conversation.
