In a summer where it looks like Chelsea need to sign 2 or even 3 mids, I would have welcomed it if the club went for AMA - especially for 35 mil price (!) I have no issues with European football potentially having some competition at last, but the fact it's currently solely down to excessive wage packets is the notable downside.
