Record is the third-best selling Portuguese newspaper for good reason. This newspaper will print stories that will literally make you say "wtf". It will do anything to get more sales against Ojogo and Abola. They will print stories like "Di Maria to Benfica" or "Falcao to Fatima" that can puzzle people. Unfortunately as a kid, I love reading this newspaper and would buy a copy each morning to read in my grandfather cafe. Why? It was practically similar to a Children's book with made up stories and you can use your imagination to believe Messi will be playing at Porto. I'm not really sure who they're bias to but it can be said between Benfica and Sporting. Be wary of stories from these guys. Thanks Vesper. So it looks like were actually getting him... Vesper 31,108
Ligue 1 star in London for Chelsea medical ahead of completing Stamford Bridge switch https://astamfordbridgetoofar.com/2023/01/benoit-badiashile-is-in-london-to-undergo-his-medical-ahead-of-the-Chelsea-game-latest-news/ Benoit Badiashile is in London to undergo his medical ahead of Chelsea move According to Football.London, AS Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile, is currently in London to undergo his medical ahead of the completion of his move to Chelsea during this transfer window. A few days ago, The Athletic reported that the Blues have agreed on transfer terms to sign the French defender for a fee of around £32.8m-£33.7m. The latest on it is that the player will sign a six-and-a-half-year deal with Chelsea. Badiashile was part of the Blues alternative plan to sign a left-sided centre-back when it became apparent that getting Josko Gvardiol is becoming tougher by the day. They agreed on personal terms with the Croatia international in the summer, but the price became too steep. Since then, the RB Leipzig man was linked with Chelsea, but now the price tag has gone beyond €90m. Completing the deal to sign Badiashile may mean that the club does not go back in direction of trying to sign Gvardiol. The Monaco defender is only 21 but experienced in the French game. He has made over 100 senior appearances for the Ligue 1 side and has not looked out of place. The Frenchman is a multi-faceted defender who is very fast in recovery runs, reads the game well, is good on the ball and is a physical giant in both boxes from set-piece situations. Every time there's a high profile transfer in the making he just whores endlessly for clicks and likes even if there's been no developments. He just changes a few words from his previous tweet and makes it seem like something new has happened and that he's in the loop about it. That tweet already has almost 500K views and 10K likes in just over 30 minutes even if it's just repackaging the same info we've all known for days. I suppose that's how he earns his living so I understand why he does it but just comes across as lazy. Vesper, turgi and Milan 1

Vegetable 830
So, Enzo would be the most expensive PL transfer to date, in front of Grealish and Lakaka. I'd love to see us on top of other tables instead this one honestly. Fernando and laura90
dimmas 131
But to be honest, still don't really get why he is the one who push this transfer? Don't really understand why enzo want to move here? It's only because he believe and get excited with boehly todd ambition and future project? If something doesn't really going well on his first 2-3 months here. This move is really question by some people. The stake is too high, not just for the club but mostly also for him. And the pressure will be so massive Edited January 3, 2023 by dimmas

Plus, while this forum is very short sighted, he is joining a big and ambitious project in its infancy. Maybe at his age that feels like something he's got plenty of time for. Hashishi 148
His strengths: -Tenacity - ground duels -Passing - all types, very progressive, wants the ball -Press resistant -Shooting ability So his weaknesses: -Carrying the ball -Aerial duels -Gets dribbled past - the stat is ~1.5/90, dont know how that fares against comparable players I say this season we try him as a 6. If he excels we continue with that, if not next season he plays as an 8 Edited January 3, 2023 by Hashishi

If he excels we continue with that, if not next season he plays as an 8 I look at him in a similar mould to Bellingham, and the likes of Lampard and Gerrard before him in regards to position and the need for freedom. You could play him defensively and he'll do a job but it limits his full skillset. When you're talking about a £100m+ player, you want to really be building the team to ensure you maximise him. For me, that means long term he plays alongside a more defensive minded player that allows him to play his game freely as a box to box type. His stock is high now and he moves up the football pyramid with one move - good salary, big club in London, worldwide fanbase. If he passes on this move (which is also a sensible thing to do given he could win the league with Benfica, have a CL run), there is an outside chance he suffers an injury/loss of form and the big move never happens for him.
