The Sterling deal is done. Why would anybody bother photoshopping when it is probably easier to get leaked legit photos.

Koundé dice ‘sí' al Barcelona, aunque no le esperará mucho - AS.com

If we want Kounde, we need to move fast

From Italy and England a new offensive is announced, the final, from Chelsea by Jules Koundé. The English club would finally be willing to give the 60 million more variables that Sevilla asks for at least for the French defender, whom Barcelona also wants. Some time ago the London club reached an agreement with the player, but the new English strategy of negotiating with several bands (De Ligt, Aké, Skriniar, Koulibaly, Koundé himself) does not sit well in the surroundings of the Nervionense footballer.

Reluctant until a few days ago due to Barça's uncertain economic and sporting situation, Koundé is now more willing to join the Barça club if Chelsea, or any other big club in Europe, does not close the deal once and for all with the Seville. But the French will not wait. If blues and sevillistas reach an agreement soon, he will end up at Stamford Bridge without waiting for Laporta to activate the second famous 'lever', which would give him the necessary cash to face this and any other operation.

Time and the last movements therefore run frantically against the wishes of Xavi Hernández, Jules' great supporter. With Bayern close to signing De Ligt, Skriniar one step away from PSG; Koulibaly negotiating with Juventus... Chelsea is forced to speed up the negotiation with Sevilla so that Tuchel is not really left without one of his first options, Koundé. Jorge Mendes met a few days ago in Portugal with the now owner of Chelsea, the American Todd Boehly. Among other topics, they discussed the signing of Koundé, for which the Portuguese superagent is lending a hand to Sevilla. Monchi, who has Marcao almost closed as a substitute for Diego Carlos, awaits the money from this transfer to undertake several more operations.

El Barça espera las ofertas finales de Chelsea y United por De Jong (sport.es)

We will make a final offer for FDJ and we need to convince him to join us

Chelsea wanted to make sure at Thursday night's summit with Barça that his transfer was possible and promised to pass an official offer in the next few hours. United, which has been bidding for weeks, will improve its offer and will also present its final proposal for a decision.

The London club, at the request of Tuchel, introduced the option of introducing the Dutchman to carry out a joint operation and the two clubs stayed in Barcelona to explore a possible agreement. In the case of United, the transfer would be clean without the inclusion of players, an option that interests Barça more.

Barça, despite the latest public statements, does not close the exit door to the Dutchman, much less because it is considered a vital income in this complicated transfer market. The monetary injection will help to complete the ambitious transfer plan that the Blaugrana entity has outlined.

De Jong has been talking to United for some time and the relationship between him and his entourage is much closer to the Manchester club. But it is also true that the sports project offered by Chelsea is much more ambitious and reliable than that of United, with guaranteed participation in the Champions League this season.

At Barça they want the outcome of this whole matter to be as fast as possible and they have communicated this to both Chelsea and United. The two clubs are trying to convince the footballer and, from there, they are clear that there will be an agreement with the Blaugrana club. De Jong should join the Blaugrana pre-season next week, but his attendance is clearly up in the air.

Has any of our Tier 1's reported in our interest in FDJ?

There’s been nothing at all from any English media. Which says it all. Catalan media just using our name to spice things up.

Jacob Steinberg of the Guardian made the link a week ago but I don't think there's serious interest nor that there's been any movement regarding the deal. If there were, it would've been reported by the likes of Law, Jacobs, Romano etc. already.
