Just try for Skriniar before PSG advance things further. Or Koulibaly. Kimpembe is bang average. Reminds me of a slightly better Zouma which is decent for a squad player but not a top class guy.

Missing out on de Ligt will probably really hurt for Tuchel. His leadership in addition to his ability was something Tuchel clearly after.

€90m for De Ligt...hell no...great and far better cb available in the market....just buy Kounde and a very good or impressive defender not overrated De Ligt

David Carmo

Goncalo inacio

Presnel Kimpembe(Tuchel previous connection) etc

Fichajes FC Barcelona | Raphinha no irá a la gira de pretemporada con el Leeds (sport.es)

Raphinha don't want to go with Leeds at Australia tour

Barça is confident in being able to close his signing, regardless of the decision that Ousmane Dembélé ends up taking. Raphinha only thinks about succeeding at the Camp Nou, but Chelsea's economic muscle makes it difficult for the Blaugrana. The economic proposal of the 'blues' is much more attractive than that of Barça, but the desire of the striker and his agent is key in his final decision.

With 90 we buy Kounde and Koulibaly

I'm a big fan of De Ligt because I think he ticks a lot of boxes for us and is a real long term buy.

But if we're talking someone who should be able to just make an immediate impact over the next year or two that is attainable then Koulibaly would be the one for me. If he can be 'got' for a good price even at his age I think we'd still get 2 or 3 years of real high quality out of him and he'd probably be the perfect transition away from Thiago Silva to take over that mantle as the experience in the backline the following season.

Kounde I've said since the start, I think if we're planning to stick to a back 3 he makes a lot of sense as I feel his game is suited to that role on the side. If long term, back 4 is the plan I have a lot more concerns about him.

90M for MDG + 50/60 for Kounde/Ake or Kimpembe is too much

Not bother me if he goes to Bayern

ofc is one of the biggest clubs in the world but if MDL prefers fighting for shit titles is with him

Fichajes FC Barcelona | Negociación final Barça-Chelsea por Marcos Alonso (sport.es)

Final details in Alonso deal

The agreement with the footballer is total for the next three seasons and he hopes not to have to join the Chelsea discipline next week, either through a permit or because a definitive sale agreement is reached.

Barça needs cash with the application of the second lever, although it is likely that the London club will give up beforehand with the obligation to pay by the end of the month or during the month of August.

Marcos Alonso has Tuchel's OK to leave and Chelsea already has a substitute for him, so it is most likely that he will not have to do the preseason with the Londoners. Azpilicueta's case seems a bit more thorny due to the price that Chelsea wants to pay, but Xavi is pressing for them to bring him in as well.

dont bother me

I prefer give 60M for Kounde and 30M for Koulibaly

€90m is 'only' £76m

£75m is fair value for De Ligt, especially given his young age (he turns only 23yo on August 12th) but also his being so experienced already, so I am not going to quibble over 1m quid (and who knows with the FOREX being so volatile it may end up being £75m on the nose)

due to real world (not explosion in transfer prices) inflation, that (£76m) is like paying £63.5m just 5 years ago

That substitute is Emerson.
