To be completely honest, I don't mind going into next season with the same attacking options. As long as our CB and WB are good and maybe a CM, it will eliminate donkey moments like under lampard. With a full preseason, Tuchel can show if he's really a project man or one hit wonder.

Yep, I find it pretty bewildering that some people are closing their minds to not even one of the attackers improving given most of the obstacles they faced last season (broken pre season, poorly coached for half of It and in Kai's case a really bad dose of the virus that shut down the world). I imagine they felt the same avout Rudi and Chris in January.

Not to mention getting a striker in isn't anymore the safe bet it's being portrayed as (as we of all supporters should know). Infact outside of Haaland has any of our even semi realistic options scored more laat season than what Kai and Timo did the year before they joined us?

I want to go to an alternate timeline where we get Haaland but he also struggles to score and I want to then see what do the fans say about it...

I still stick to my thought that Ziyech should stay. I refuse to believe that he’s shit. Given some consistent playing time I think he’ll be useful. No way a player who looked brilliant against some of the biggest teams in Europe (including us) is suddenly a donkey.

His skillset is very different to the rest of our attackers. We have an abundance of pace and players willing to make the runs but he's the one player who relies on sitting deeper and having the game played in front of him, being able to spot runs and make passes. I agree, I think if he can settle and stay fit better than last season he could be an important player for being able to break down some of the lesser sides playing low blocks.

Seems like every journalist is saying the same thing suddenly today. Which is basically the same thing we’ve known for weeks. That it’ll take an absolute bomb of an offer for BVB to sell, but that they would sell for the right price. It’ll essentially take Mbappe money.

And I think he’s 100% worth Mbappe money. We will regret passing up the opportunity for the next 10 years if he ends up in Manchester next summer for half the price.

I think he comes to us rather than City. We are in the capital and have won CL twice. In addition we have spent this window trying to see if we can sign him.

The competition will come from Real Madrid, who will sign him or Mbappe next season.

He punches the ball back into the danger areas, his positioning has not always been the best. He is a capable goal keeper but like I said if there was a choice to bin him for a sure generational talent like Donnurama I would not think twice. Think of that season we could have binned Cech for Courtois as an example.

A bit different a situation as Cech was well and truly in decline at that point, Edou by comparison has just come off a brilliant debut season.

I don’t like this talk about Griezman , he is absolute trash. Old, slow and lost his mojo.
we won’t get Haaland so we‘d rather buy no striker at all instead of average has beens like  Griezman

we will never pay that salary, it's staggeringly high

low end it is close to £80m for 3 years

high end it is close to £120m for 3 years

depending on which source is correct

fuck Barca, let them rot

WTF? No way is Griezmann on 800 plus a week? Thats straight up messed up by Barca, no wonder they are in the shitter

the lowest I would wager is close to £600K PW, that £750K PW is the highest I have seen quoted

Pessi is on what is approaching £2 MILLION PW, all forms of compensations included

it is so easy to see how they get into a billion in debt

just for those two players, on those wages, that is around £400m or so just in compensation over a 3 year period
