Sorry mate but thats not a good analogy. And for 70m plus he is average. We cant afford to fuck about no longer, we must be crucial and smart this time. Hence I dont see Zaha as a smart buy, not at the claimed fees anyway. I dont believe we we are after him to be honest, it will probably be Dembele and Dembele only in Jan. But even that looks a tough one to pull off.

Actually Mane's two seasons in Southampton and Zaha's last two seasons very similar stats.

He was indeed a good player but because he turned out good for us does not mean Zaha will be as good. We had a monster of a team, players we could count on to pick up the slack etc. I just dont see Zaha as a Chels player now or in the future, if he comes and does well I happily admit I was way wrong.

It looks like many people don't like him. Like I said I think it's Sancho or Zaha. So obviously I would prefer Jadon but if we can't sign him I'm OK with Zaha. For me Zaha it's top 5 wingers in the league with Salah, Mane, Son and Sterling. Only difference he plays for much weaker team.

The clubs alarming financial figures for the last year has put into serious question just what level player we can afford to buy now.

Losing nearly £100 million and revenue almost flatlining might well mean we're shopping at Aldi  rather than Harrods in the coming transfer windows.

I don't think I'd be too concerned with last year's figures. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken but those results will take into account us buying Jorginho, Kepa and Pulisic last season, whilst there was only one sizeable player sale I believe in Courtois.

Also we didn't have Champions League football last season. Despite winning the Europa League, I think we've already over doubled our european money this season compared to last or something nearly as ridiculous.

Having sold Hazard in the summer, Morata this coming summer and likely some other player sales, I think a good amount of money will be spent across the next 2 transfer windows.

To be fair the times we feel we've shopped at Harrods, we've come away feeling we haven't got value for money so maybe that's not the best idea anyway.

Zaha on one side, Pulisic on the other. Two crazy good, aggressive dribblers with fantastic pace. Or Zaha + Willian. Or Zaha + CHO.

He's a player that requires opposing coaches to plan specifically for similar to how Hazard was for us. He's a massive pain in the ass to deal with as a defender, hence why he's amongst the most fouled players in Europe.

That's the sort of weapon I want in the side.

correct.  They are up until June 2019 and take into account no CL , plus Kepa, Jorginho etc.    We are sitting on a tonne of money right now from TV and CL money to this date, plus summer sales.

Coming a little naturally demotivated at Palace because he's done what he can there and now wants the step up (partly his own fault for signing a new deal).

Similar happened to VVD before he left Saints. And no, I'm not saying he will come here and have a similar ascendency, just that you're being very harsh writing him off based on his first bit of bad form for quite a while.
