I like it overall. Not so much changing the CB’s up for such a huge game. Especially with Zouma who is the most mistake prone CB.

Really hope we see a confident, assertive Havertz here. Get him in form and it would be huge for the remainder of the season.

I wonder if the Zouma selection (and Alonso) has anything to do with this...

Certainly looks like TT has gone with a more physical, taller defense here for sure. James and Alonso as the wingbacks rather than Chilly and CHO shows that too.

For love of god, all I ask is that we don’t allow Everton to come out and bully us or press us into making silly mistakes. We need to take it to them from the off.

What is important tonight is the attitude.

Looking at their line up Iwobi, Richarlison, Calvert Lewin - not technically better than ours but they have spirit and bottle

We need to have a  hard and ruthless mentality not just pretty possession

Not happy about the line up. Very lightweight in midfield and upfront and then we also risking Zouma again doing something stupid again (although I suspect he has been picked because of his heading ability.)

Most surprising thing for me is Mount, I feel we are going to miss his pressing ability and Everton will go from back to front very easily against us. Won't be surprised if TT changes things at HT.

I hope Kai puts in a masterful performance! We need these three points, especially when United and Leicester won.

still shocked De Bruyne had just a pure shitter of a game

worst game for him in years

and Sterling has so tanked this year (which makes their 21 game win streak even more crazy)

we could have been only a point behind both of them with a win tonight if Citeh had not cocked up and if BHA had just hung on for a draw, those choking cunts

Here comes the day where everyone who asked for so much time for the presence of our 2 german stars upfront, is granted. By now, no more excuses, no covid, no rehab, no wrong tactical schema, no more incompetent manager, no more too short adaptation period, Havertz and Werner must win us this primordial game just as we won it easily last season with players  who are on the bench today.

This is a better and more astute Everton though
