Speaking to Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro has confirmed that 21-year-old attacker Kai Havertz wants to take the next step, with several clubs interested in signing the Germany international. “It was always clear that we will have talks once the Europa League season concluded,” said Carro. “Kai has voiced his desire to make the next step.
