Because it's happening week in week in week out so this is hardly a shock. They dont have a sodding clue what they're doing and what is what. I know they keep saying it's new blah but you should have a understanding of the basic rules!!!

I havent been following PL that much recently aside from Chelsea because Im busy, but if stuff like this is happening every week, Im glad im missing out.

This isnt even something "new" to discuss, if you have eyes you see its a foul. I mean sure its easy to talk when you are observer, and when you are actualy THE MAN to decide there is pressure and all, thats why I somehow gave some understanding to all those weird ref decisions in the past. But now you have screens, replays, all angles etc etc. The guy almost broke his foot and the ball wasnt near. Unless you are 5 years old watching footie for the first time or 80 years old with dementia, this is a clear foul.

At the very least, there should be concequences. Change of VAR rules, firing the people responsible for stuff like this etc. But it only gets worse.

Basicaly VAR didnt make footie more correct, it just gave the officials more power to decide what team benefits from decisions like the one today. Or Zouma goal last week. If that is fucking Real or United, they would obviously have the goal standing.

John Murray's 5live's football chief football reporter I don't mind him everyone else on there is a bland middle England wanker but even he came out with some utter bollocks this evening. He basically said we should cut the Stockley Park twat some slack as it was human error for God's sake it's his job and he's the only person who's seen the foul that didn't think it was a red card it's staggering incompetence.

Why don't the refs use their monitors surely this is the decision that broke the straw on the camel's back if any ref is relying on those Stockley Park bozos then what's the point of having the monitors at all. VAR is killing football and as Chelsea fans we've seen the worse of it in the last couple of days two clear red cards and two disallowed goals.

That's such a daft thing to say! Like before you could understand the refs getting it wrong. They dont have a replay.

Whereas now..some bloke can look at it from every angle and make a decision on that. Why should they be cut some slack. N why 30 minutes later did someone say woops. Were they still going over it?! The whole thing is silly..the offside thing is silly.

Just now, Milan said:

Arsenal, Leicester, Man United, Tottenham. 4 league games in a row. We managed to survive 'somehow' this schedule and remain in the top 4. We have lost some point advantage, true, but we have not lost it completely. With players now returning from their injuries and Giroud being suddenly ahead of Bats, we just have to make sure that surviving the last month does indeed count in the end. Starting with Bournemouth on Saturday.

The mighty Bournemouth...can't wait for us to help them get back to winning ways!

Just take every game as it comes. Still annoyed we didnt take all 3 from Arsenal but 5 from those 4 games. Better then sod all. Dont trust this lot though. Just when think could get even a small run going its bammmmm not we cant.

This is our 3rd league win since we beat Spurs last time...lost 3..drew 3..nice and even.

We don't have a clear "advantage" over a certain type of teams but 6 of our remaining 11 games are against teams in the bottom half, most of them are fighting to avoid relegation...

Bournemouth (a) - 16th
Everton (h) - 10th
Aston Villa (a) - 17th
Man City (h) - 2nd
West Ham (a) - 18th
Watford (h) - 19th
Crystal Palace (a) - 13th

Sheffield United (a) - 6th
Norwich (h) - 20th
Liverpool (a) - 1st
Wolves (h) - 9th

3 of those last 4 games though...EEK!

Nah that's it so hard to predict. Out of that lot we've dropped points against 6 of them already so be nice not to again this time round.

Why do we always get Liverpool at the end?!

If those cunts in var room cant see that was a red, if they cant see Maguire should have been off, then they have no business sitting there to begin with. Its bent as fuck.

The biggest problem for me is the ref not looking at his monitor which apparently Oliver did in a cup game this season. He has a look gives a red card and it shows up the var officials to be the utter myopic twats that they are.

VAr Works totally fine in other sports and Leagues, the issue is epl is bent. Refs can do what they want, VAR refs can take any decisions.....without any repurcussions. They are not allowed to be interviewed, we musnt hear what is said on the intercom etc. They can and have decided a match very easily. 2 teams above all others have beniffited by var, its pool and utd.
