Special Juan 28,141
In the nicest possible way, no. He's done a job but he is not the player he was and he should be given a coaching role or something behind the scenes. Next season should see Costa, Benteke and one of the kids for me. I'm not mentioning Bamford because I don't think he will be here. rantdeville, MrBlueGuy and Stingray
Fulham Broadway 17,316
Almost certainly his last playing season.Even at the ripe old age of 37, he comes back to step in when it mattered to deliver the title.Who could have have predicted after the Munich penalty, he would come back after 3 years to win two more trophies#legend Bosnian Blue and The Mak

Rhino's Skin 972
He should only be given a coaching role only if he is good enough. The club is too professional just to hand out important roles just because of who they are....well lets hope they are.So, once he has done his badges and learnt from the current staff...then perhaps ( and only if he shows promise) he should get a role. But perhaps he prefers some type of advisory role rather than coaching..i.e. talking to players breaking into the 1st team squad, speaking to youth about how it was for him etc etc
Popular Post! Hybrid Angel 2,130 Posted May 22, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted May 22, 2015 Tomorrow will probably be the last time we see him play at the bridge, if he's gonna play at all. I hope him and Cech will get the reception they deserve.#KingofAfrica #Legend Muzchap, Reddish-Blue, lucio and 6 others

boshman 1,073
The right decision for the club as well as him. Nonetheless, a few more goals, another PL and League cup winners medals, he has only added to the legend that is Didier. Thank you for everything Didier. A TRUE Chelsea legend. Good luck wherever you decide to go. I'm sure this isn't a goodbye, just a see you again soon. :blue scalf: Viper22
