If, however, we are to loose a league game to any of City, Liverpool or Spurs, then surely the choice is an absolute no brainer for a big majority of Chelsea fans. Spuds will never win it so I'm not even counting them. Liverpool winning it would be annoying, yes, but I can get over it quickly. The media will be insufferable but whatever. All I know is that City will be hyper focused and extremely up for it this weekend. This will be a massive test once again. We better not turn up like a deer in headlights like we did against Spuds and Arse recently. I couldn't give a fuck who wins the league if it guarantees us top 4. Losing to City less of a shock or annoyance then what happened last week. I can't see us unless we get a run together and stop throwing silly points away ending up top 4 anyway.. I've not read the whole thread but so far I've only seen one post saying the poster would gladly loose to damage the hopes of Spurs and Liverpool. I confess I've got a lot of sympathy with that view but I can't go that far myself. All I do say is that, if we should loose, then the fact that the points can only help City in the title race will be a very big consolation for me.
