Jack Grealish

No one is expecting us to even go for him but if United gets him we are in big trouble. Look what difference Bruno makes. Him and Jack together would be pretty much unplayable.
Especially because Bruno has lots of creativity and if they get another creative mastermind, they are slowly getting Man City level of creativity.

We on the other hand play with three defensive midfielders lol.

Good deal for City. Building on their foundations and improving their squad, simple as that.

Credit to their board, Irrespective how they balance their books, they back their manager that brings in trophies. Something we are yet to see for us despite winning the biggest trophy in club football.

Their mentality? Win and “how can we improve?”

Our mentality? “We won the UCL, squad must be fine”

We do have a history of this so I am not saying this isn't happening again, however we need to see how things play out this month before complaining. Personally if we were laying out £100m for Grealish I would be going bananas.

For me, it has way more sense than spending over 100m for the guys like Felix, Dembele even Coutinho.

In February before injury he was number one candidate for POTY.

And best English player.

In my opinion, someone who costs £100m should be transformational. An undisputed world class player who wouldn’t look out of place in a World XI or something. Grealish isn’t anywhere near that level.

City could sign Grealish for £100m, see him get injured day 1, and they wouldn’t even miss him a bit. So how is someone like that worth £100m? City don’t need him even a little bit. But I suppose it’s better they waste all that money on him than Haaland for example.

I think it’s pretty much impossible that he’ll flop there due to the team he’ll have around him and I’m sure he’ll have some good numbers, but there are probably a dozen players for half the price City could sign that could do the same things.

I just don't see it with Grealish. He is a very good player, but is he world class? I am really not certain. When I watch him he reminds me a lot of a more physical Joe Cole.

That isn't a £100m player in my book.

couldn't agree more.

Very good news for non-City fans. He'd be more of the same, while they don't really address their weaknesses.
