A few minutes at the back end of a game won't keep him at SB with the Euro's a few months away. Deschamps has already warned he needs games and I'm not sure Frank will give him much more than cameos as his career ebbs away. I think there will be a meeting between the 2 parties and Giroud will move on. The team selections suggest Tammy had edged ahead of OG.

Great attitude from him all the way

He may have a dilemma if we're in a title race in January, he's not got close to a PL title yet and if there's a chance of winning one (which will probably be his only chance) even a a squad player he may choose to stay!

I was frustated at how he was treated by the club, I'm happy to see that he is getting a chance now. He is clearly better than Tammy and he was dropped in the beginning of the season for no reason. Let's hope they give him more game time and he stays at the end of the day.

And you thought he wouldn't be given game time

Yes the way it was looking and the way his agent was talking I thought he'd leave. The only reason he is getting game time is because Tammy choked against Spurs by the way. The funny thing was that you didn't mind him rotting on the bench, yet I spoke out when I saw a player that was mistreated by the club.

I stand by what I said, if Lampard would not have started him then we all should've respected Giroud's decision to leave. What happened today strenghtened my argument even more, he is a better player than Tammy. Yet he was dropped in the beginning of the season..... your argument for why he was dropped still doesn't make sense mate.

Its amateur you haven't realized Lampard's strategy by now.

He plays based on form. I told you multiple times Tammy is streaky and the moment he's off form, Giroud will come in. You continued to discredit that for what ever bizarre reason.

That backfired against Spurs didn't it? I'm not in the mood to go back and forth with you. It's a pathetic attempt to explain your arguments after I didn't even mention you. Just enjoy the win and good night bro.

Don't think we are talking about goals or goal streaks alone here.

Giroud's overall game is way above Abraham's at the moment, esp in tougher matches where Abraham struggles a bit.

Giroud is just a better player in tight spaces, which translates to tougher games. Abraham does well when he can find space for runs.

Make no mistake, Abraham improved his hold up and link up play and that warranted his starts given the form he was in. Mind you, I was for Giroud to play against Spurs. But again, Lampard plays based on form.
