don't forget this is his first competitive season as a regular starting eleven in a big club,,soon the stamina will grow slowly. all he need is free injury and build a world class teammate around him like werner, ziyech and havertz...

The problem will be next season. Pulisic, Werner, Ziyech and Havertz have to start. That leaves two midfield places! I can't justify playing him over kovacic

He is an option though. Those guys may not play every game due to injuries or loss of form or suspensions or tactics etc. He will be a very good option to have around the squad if he can find more consistency.

You'd really only need Kovacic against midfields that are probably stronger than ours and a team that presses.

Agreed, and Lampard seems gung ho as far as turning Mount into a Chelsea legend. Mount is the type of player a team needs, he reminds me of an old school grafter like Ray Parlour. Not flashy, but will work the midfield all game, put his body about, and come up with the odd goal/assist. I also don't think that Mount is the type of personality who will let Lampard drop him just because he brought in some big names. Can see Lamps tweaking formations to accommodate Mount in the coming seasons.

I was counting how many times he fucked up our attacks in the first half... Probably 6 or 7 times. 

No excuse playing him as LW over not only Puli but Pedro and CHO. He is not a winger. 

Anyway, looking forward to see what position will Frank invent for him next season to keep him in the starting 11 with Timo, Kai, Puli and Hakim around.

He did not play well. Neither in attack nor defense. Hope Lampard realises that we should use him as a BU for our midfielders.
He is not creative enough to play as a no. 10 and probably too weak for a no. 8.
